Even though I am the only one here...

Woo hoo, one year from today, we will be setting sail!

You are alone no longer! We too are sailing on this cruise for our DD's High School Graduation. First cruise on the Fantasy but 5th on Disney. Seems like such a long time to wait, especially since we just returned from WDW last week and don't have any other vacation plans until this cruise. Oh well, more time to plan. :surfweb:

Hey Teresa. Will your graduating DD be 18 at the time of the cruise? This will be our first cruise with both DD's over 18. So while they can't drink, they can participate in the adult areas and activities. Our last cruise, both were in the teen club.

Yes, she actually turns 18 this August. So she'll be able to do the adult activities (she is excited about the adult pool area!). My other daughter will only be 15, so she will still be in the teen area.

We have booked the Radisson for our pre-cruise hotel. I know a lot of new hotels have been built in the Port Canaveral area over the past few years, but the Radisson has been our pre-cruise hotel for each of our cruises. Now we are trying to find a hotel in the Jacksonville area for the night after the cruise. A friend of DD18 from a previous cruise lives there, so we will give them a little time to visit.

DD received a text this week indicating her graduation will be Thursday, June 2 at 2:00 pm. Our school district rents out the big sports arena, and does all the HS graduations back to back for three days. As luck would have it, her graduation is the last one. So we will get everything all set for the trip, go to graduation, go out to dinner afterwards, come home and go to bed, then leave very early Friday morning. Not the best scenario, but we knew this was a chance when we booked this week for the cruise.

Hi! Just booked! My DD is graduating too and yes she will be 18. Glad to hear there are others :) She also has a younger sister that will be 15.

If my calculations are correct, we all set sail in 42 weeks.

School starts this week, so the next time DD is out of school, we will be cruising!

Woo whoo! 42 weeks let the count down begin. :) My kids started school already. Can't believe my DD is having her last year of high school this year.

Hi Everyone!!! It looks like there are 2 dis threads for this cruise. I think I posted in the other one a while back. Our family is going on this cruise. We are so excited. We booked while on our cruise (Northern Europe) back in June. This will be our 6th cruise but the first one on the Disney Fantasy and our first time to the Carribean. DD's will be 16 and 12 at the time of the cruise.
