Hi my family and will be traveling on the Dream on the 25th.This will be our second time on the Dream. You are going to absolutely love it. This is our 4th Disney Cruise and our 6th cruise and you just can not beat the experience that Disney provides. There is so much to do. I would love to meet you when we are on the ship. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

Hi! My husband and I will be on this cruise. It will be our second cruise and second time on the Dream. We loved our last cruise and are really looking forward to it.

First cruise ever and so glad that it is going to be a Disney Dream. Looking forward to everything possible. Also get to experience it through a child's eyes!!!!! Yippee.

We'd love to fish too... being it's our first cruise I don't know how confident I feel in setting everything up.. but if anyone is interested I would gladly help. We are also going to WDW after our cruise and will gladly take any pointers. It will be our first trip to the World, we've been to Disneyland multiple times but looking forward to checking out the other great park!

How many days will you be in WDW after the cruise? We will be there a couple days before the cruise. You will be able to see the Holiday storytellers at Epcot, they are great! You should also plan to do the Candlelight Processional, I would plan to do a dining package then you won't have to stand in line to get a seat. You might also want to budget to do one of the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parties, it is kind of expensive but I think it is worth it. The Christmas parade and special Christmas fireworks make it worth it for me.

Thanks for the great ideas. They all sound wonderful and looking forward to booking them.

Thank you. We will determine our days this weekend. I will keep all of the info in mind. I didn't know about the storytellers in Epcot.

Does anyone know if the ship will be decorated for Christmas? Are there any special Christmas activities that will be occurring if it is?

It should be decorated for Christmas, my sister and her family will be traveling the week before and I think that starts the Merrytime Cruises.

Thanks for the advice, I think we have our basic days lined out and are planning on five days at WDW with one of the nights being the Very Merry Christmas Party. Looking forward to all that we will encounter. Anyone hear of what Rivers of Light may look like for December schedule? Also, to park hop or not? I am in favor as I love to experience all and can sleep when I get home, but I don't want to spend unnecessary money on park hoppers if it isn't feasible to do so. If I should post these questions elsewhere let me know. I don't want to bog down the cruise meets with all my vacation questions.

Advice on excursions for Atlantis, is it worth it to dolphin encounter, or just aquatica, or ? Any thoughts or opinions is welcomed.

Sounds like you have a good plan with the 5 days of WDW and the Christmas party. As for the park hopper I think it all depends on what your touring style is like, I like having the freedom to go from park to park. But I could see not getting the park hopper too. As for Rivers of Light, its kind of up in the air right now, especially since they have pushed back the day. I would assume that the park will be closing at sunset with the show once it turns dark, so that will probably be the park with the shortest hours.

I first took my oldest sons (now 18 & 22) on DCL 15 years ago! We are now taking our youngest kids (ages 4 and 8) on their first Disney Cruise. We are so excited! I just learned today about Fish Extenders. Anyone have any advice? Pros/cons/age appropriateness? Is it fun or not worth the hassle?

My husband and I participated in a Fish Extender group the last time we cruised, it was fun. We are on the fence if we want to do one again though.

Hi all! My DW and I will be on this cruise as well. While not interested in FE, please feel free to say hi if you see us. This will be out fifth Disney cruise so we will be gold after this one! My wife's parents as well as 2 couples we met on our cruise in January that were our table mates will be joining us as well so we are super excited for this one! We've not been on a Very Merrytime cruise yet so we're looking forward to it!
