Hi everyone!!! I will be going on my first ever cruise on the Disney Dream on August 26th 2016. We will be going for my daughter's 5th birthday and big celebration before she starts kindergarten that September. We booked concierge level. Any tips or tricks or anything I need to know? I am a cruise virgin and have no idea what to expect. Can't wait to see who else is going the same time as me!

No tips for you but this will be our first cruise (husband, myself and 2 sons) and we are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary!!!! The boys will be 2 and almost 12!! So very excited also. Ooohh one tip I can give you is get on Pinterest and search Disney Dream cruise. I have found a lot of information there!!

Hello! Just booked this as a back to back with the August 29 - 4 night. This will be our 6th Disney cruise, and we will be celebrating my son starting high school the next week. Any questions about the Dream, just ask :).

We are also booked onto this cruise with our 10 yr old son (we're from Liverpool, England) - we are super excited! See you there x

Hi Everyone! I have just booked my first ever cruise for my DD (15) and I and after the cruise will be doing WDW for 7 days! We are super excited newbies and this will be a great Mom/Daughter trip before she starts school! I would love to hear and tips for cruising and is anyone interested in doing the "fish exchange" (I think it's called that) during our cruise? If so please let me know!!! See you in 10 long months! :stitch2:

First cruise too. Me, DH, DD10 and DD 7. We are doing 2 days at DW (grand Floridian) before our cruise and 4 days after! So exciting.

Hi everyone..... We are also booked on this cruise.

Mum & Dad in one stateroom................ the kids in another. But then they are 26 & 18, so it's not like we are abandoning them - just after some peace, quite & tidiness

This will be our 9th cruise... so seasoned cruisers

*** Deleted post... I have since switched to a 4 night cruise and didn't want to confuse anyone. Sorry. ***

Have a great cruise!!

What a great idea for her birthday and pre kinder celebration! I am new to the cruising too, but we did a birthday at the parks and a wish trip and our kids were just blown away by it. It's so cool to see how excited they get. I wonder if they have the birthday buttons for the cruise ship... At the resorts they give birthday kids (and adults) birthday pins so the cast members say happy birthday every time they see them. Does anyone know if there is something like this for the cruise lines?

Hi all, we booked this cruise in February on the Star Wars Day at Sea cruise, this will be our 8th cruise. Me, DW, DD 11, and DD 6. We're doing 3 days at the Contemporary ahead of the cruise. This will be our 4th time on the Dream, so if anyone has questions, just ask!
Can't wait to see all the adults in line for the Star Wars update in the kids clubs during the open house, I know I'll be there!

You won't be alone @PredzMan- DS 9 (I can't help but laugh every time I type that) and I can't wait to check it out. I love that my kids are into it just as much as their father and I have been throughout our lives. I think I watched the kids reactions more than I watched the latest movie in the theatre! lol.

Just booked this cruise. Have booked only once before, February 2nd 2014 for our Land & Sea Disneymoon on the Dream also. Combining our cruise with three nights at WDW (Art of Animation) for our annual vacation this year. Canceled our trip to see the 60th Anniversary at Disneyland, and booked this last night instead. Having a little buyers remorse, but I know we'll have a great time. Just my husband and I, no children. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

This will be our first cruise for everyone. Five people in one stateroom. Should be interesting. Me, hubby, daughter 11, son 10 and daughter 7. We are all super excited!
