Disney dangled the visual weinee & Mickeystoontown gobbled it up! 10/26

I have no clue what is up with the Dis but it's not letting me quote anyone! The same thing happened to me a day or so ago. Soooooo, welcome aboard to the newbies to my report! I always love meeting new folks. Thanks to all of ya'll who are saying that the plans for the trip that begins THIS Friday look good. I know that this is going to be a bit of a challenge traveling with so many people. But, like I said in the post with our plans, we all are going to be respectful and mindful of the fact that this is everybody's vacation. We need to get away from the real world and immerse ourselves into the world of Disney.

I'll try again after a little while to quote ya'll's posts but I am thinking that it might not work for me since it's been acting up for the last several days. Please know that I am not ignoring your individual posts!

I'm off to write up the next update!

I have a difficult time writing replies, too. It's gotten to the point where I write very short and concise answers, which aren't my favorite, but you gotta do what you gotta do...

Your trip is coming up! Yay! I hope everyone has a great time. Your plans look great, and I think you left enough time open for people to break off that nobody will feel like they are missing anything. As important as it is to have family time on vacations, it's equally important everyone gets their space.

I've not had any problems quoting or linking. I can't copy pictures though...haven't figured out that trick.

That is not a urinal!!!!!

Today, we were going to Epcot again! We utilized Dee's string bag method of bypassing the bag check...we had everything in our shorts pockets including a folded backsack that I had made. We were able to go through the no-bag line and, once we were inside, we stepped to the side and emptied everything into the bag. Now, I say "everything" but it really wasn't much so it's not like we walked into the park with big old bulky pockets (that wouldn't have worked anyway because I've seen them stop people before).

Our first Fastpass was for Test Track. I took a quick picture of the wait times and they were really short. Of course, we got into the park around 9:30 a.m. or so. Whoa! Wait a minute, this looks like it was taken on the other side of Future World. Or maybe it wasn't. Heck, I am not sure.

The next picture that I have is walking to Test Track:

and designing our car:

DSCF7615 (1024x768).jpg

Dang, that's a good lookin' car! Let's see how it would do on the track:

Now, we can see just how well we designed our car. Fast enough to go 64.9 miles per hour!

You know how the showroom usually just has "normal" or "plain" cars? This time, they had some really awesome cars:

After walking around a little and looking at the cars, John decided that he was in need of some coffee so we went to the Fountainview.

I believe that this is when we saw Mary, Kathy, Cayley and Avery again. The two girls spotted Hunter first and came over to give us a hug one more time.

One coffee please:

DSCF7639 (768x1024).jpg

We went outside to sit for a bit and to people watch. By now, you guys know that this is a favorite pasttime for us. These pretty flowers were right beside us:

And this was in front of us:

DSCF7641 (1024x768).jpg

Wanna sip of coffee Hunter? What? You don't like it?

DSCF7642 (768x1024).jpg

We made a bio break and then ventured over to see everyone's favorite purple dragon, Figment:

This is a giant Simon type game on the wall. It was so long that you had to almost run from one end to the other to press the panel before the light went off.

Hunter played two rounds and then we set off for our next destination. But, first, a picture of the Journey into Imagination building.

Our destination was the Land Pavilion:

There has got to be a hidden Mickey in here somewhere:

We've been on Living with the Land more times than I can count but it is still so very interesting to us.

I hope y'all have a fabulous trip..your family has so much fun together, I'm sure that the rest of your group will have just as much just being with y'all!!! Safe travels....

Ya'll, I'm sorry for the picture overload but I love this attraction:

As always, we loved our boat ride. Our next Fastpass was for Spaceship Earth. On our way, this little family crossed our path:

Our stomachs were telling us that it was time for some food! The Electric Umbrella was the closest so we popped into the wonderful air conditioning and placed our order. The upstairs seating area was open and Hunter went to find a table while John and I got the foodWe ordered burgers and chicken nuggets. For desserts, the strawberry swirl cheesecake, chocolate chip cookie and a brownie.

I know that there are so many other places to eat at Epcot but we are more of the meat and taters kind of family and we have always gotten good food at Electric Umbrella. This time was no different.

When we walked out of the restaurant, we could hear the Jammitors (or is it Jaminator's?). They were just about finished with their set but we stood to watch anyway.

Hunter had the camera and was taking some artsy fartsy shots:

This duck was watching us:

At the time of our trip, word was that Maelstrom would be closing to make wasy for the new Frozen edition. We wanted to see it one last time for old times sake.

DSCF7747 (1024x768).jpg

DSCF7748 (768x1024).jpg

The line wasn't super long but it wasn't exactly short either. I had time to really look at some of the things hanging on the wall and spotted some hidden Mickeys:

DSCF7750 (768x1024).jpg

DSCF7751 (1024x768).jpg

I hope that the Mickey ear wearing Viking makes an apperance in the new version.

I don't know why I even attempt taking pictures on Maelstrom because they always turn out like crap:

The two of the village aren't bad:

As we made our way around World Showcase, we were, once again, stopped by the raised bridge. The Illumination barges were on the move.

DSCF7766 (768x1024).jpg

DSCF7767 (768x1024).jpg

My World Showcase pictures seem few and far between so my memory is fuzzy because ofthe lack of pictures. These two are next:

DSCF7769 (1024x768).jpg

DSCF7770 (768x1024).jpg

See, doesn't really tell me much about what we had done on our walk. I'm sure that we stopped in some of the shops but there's no pictures.

**OKay, so the Dis is lagging like crazy. I'm typing way faster than what's appearing. Let me close with this but I'll be back.

Gosh dang it! Frick & Frack! I've tried copying quotes. I've tried multi-quoting. I've tried quoting just one at a time and nothing is working. I'm not ignoring the individual comments, I promise! I just tried to quote a person on the CBR thread and I can't. :furious:

Sorry you're having so much trouble with quoting! :confused3

You're Epcot day looks great so far! Those are fantastic pictures on all of the attractions too. I can never get good ones on Test Track, they are always blurry. And you know I feel the same way about Living with the Land as you, it will never get old to me!

I seem to have the sane luck as you, the barges are always coming through when I get to the bridge and I have to wait.

Just two more days til your next trip, I bet you guys are all bouncing off the walls with excitement! :bounce::jumping1:

Do you posssibly have it turned off somehow? It doesn't make sense.

Loved your mega update. Nice speed on Test Track. Yes, I believe that is when we ran into you guys again was that time at Starbucks (and of course the girls saw Hunter :love1:). Hunter on Spaceship Earth was a hoot. Maybe I should give Electric Umbrella a try again. The last time it was just nasty. Sometimes it is better to just enjoy World Showcase than take a bunch of pictures.

Steph and Kathy, it's the weirdest thing. Every time I go to quote, it lets me "add them to the multi-quotes" but then when I try to actually add them, it says message not found. So weird!

Yeah, Kathy, I remember the girls going a little ga-ga over Hunter. LOL
