Disney Chase card points question...

Can you redeem your chase points to purchase items or food by just using your Chase card? or do you have to redeem the points and have Chase send the points card to you?

It doesn't work that way. You need to have the points added to a Rewards Card. It's easy to do - online, on your account page, or by calling Chase. Or, you can have it done at Guest Services at Disney Springs. You have to transfer at least 10 points, so you have to manage the transfer so that any new transfer will meet that requirement.
I wait till a day or two before we leave to make the transfer so I am sure to get all my points.

We always get our rewards card at Disney Springs. You then have to call the phone number on the card to get it activated.
