Disney Adults ordering from kids menu

Does anyone know if my Disney Adult 10 year olds order a meal off the kids menu does their dessert have to be off the kids menu too or can it be an adult dessert? I know last year my kids were sick of chicken nuggets and ice cream sundaes after 12 days. This year they can order from the adult menu, but I know some days they will want chicken nuggets (just not everyday) and fries and a different dessert.

if they are Disney "adults" you are paying for Disney adult credits, so they can order the Disney adult desserts regardless of what entree they order. If you're paying out of pocket for a kid's meal, then you'll probably have to pay out of pocket to get them a dessert too.
