Two black guys in that picture. Thanks for helping with the diversity!

It's probably because most minorities have better things to do than be Dis-nerds.

Anyone else feel this way?

I don't see any minority groups represented on their panel

What minority groups are not represented? Non-AP holders? Non-DVC Members? Non-Florida residents? Non-Disney Fans? Non-red-heads?

Why does there need to be any categories of groups? There does not.

I pose this question, does Jimmy Fallon need to rotate with guest "minority" hosts on the "Tonight Show" on a daily basis?

Here we go again.

OP if you really find so many problem with the team why do you continue to listen?

Also the team is full of a lot of diversity, there are young, old, straight, LGBT, married, single, widowed, parents, non-parents.

I'm just amazed at the things people will pick apart about a free podcast.

Went to a workshop on diversity and was told by workshop leaders, both African-American gentlemen, that diversity does not equal skin color and race. It means a great many things. There can be diversity with age, gender identification, socioeconomic status, interests, hair color, eye color, clothing options. You name it. To imply diversity related only to race/skin color is to stereotype what diversity means.

Well it's good to know there is a wide variety of white people

But seriously folks I don't think a person of color has been even interviewed on the show

I don't there has been a single Asian , black , Latino on the show in last few years

You did not indicate ethnicity was the minority group you were looking for in your original post. How do you know that any member of the team is not a member of one of those groups?

When the show was audio only, I assumed that they were all from Honduras.

Bravo, this is the best thread yet Figment.

No I don't really agree in all honesty. The panel includes quite a few minorities and I think everybody who got their position as part of the team is most likely the person that Pete thought most suitable for the position... having seen the content these guys put out I think he makes good calls.

I have noticed you seem to spend a lot of time picking out "issues" with the podcast, have you considered perhaps finding something else to do other than finding these issues? Knitting maybe? Just a suggestion.

I'm constantly amazed by people who get all PC and offended about these things when they themselves don't belong to said minority groups (however, I clearly have no idea what race, religion or sexual orientation OP is, I'm not getting the vibe that you're Asian, Latino or black otherwise you'd have probably mentioned that by now)

My opinion? (Because we're all entitled to one right?) I don't like peas, or cinnamon. Hate them with a passion!!
I don't eat peas and for the most part, I avoid cinnamon at all costs. I don't intentionally Ingest something I dislike so much.
Just a thought.

Exactly what do you think you'd learn about WDW from a person who is Asian that you're not learning from this team?

For how small their company is, they have a great deal of diversity. Perhaps it just doesn't fit your definition of diversity.

Let us also not forget that members of the team (past and present) have lived in various places of the world (South Africa, Germany). That brings another set of diverse opinions.

But I guess if all that matters is skin color, then you're right. :confused3
