Yep, there was a meal at BB year one because I was there too with my friend Cathy, who split a meal with me, and year one was the only trip Cathy was there. :thumbsup2

Okay, here I am being a dissenter on the whole "let's wear the same shirts every year. Year after year after year".

I am not a fan of the plan for a two reasons:

    1) Looking at my pictures from a couple years. Hard to tell which year it is since always wearing the same clothes. Was that 2012 or 13, dunno, all in the same color again.

2). Some of us, well, me, not a fan of the whole retro vibe. One year...okay I will buy it even if it is pink...but do not want to fill my closet with shirts I will not wear. I did wear my black one until it fell apart, and my brown as well. So, I will not be ordering or trying to get the shirts I do not own. Lets do something NEW.

And of course, I can wear a matching other type of shirt. Absolutely. On turquoise shirt day, I had a polo on that matches so well, in the group pics, unless you look closely, would not notice I have something else on.

I own a purple polo too, so that could solve my no purple diva shirt dilemma. Easy peasy, and I likely have a polo to match whatever color is chosen this year.

I think some other bright colors would be the bomb. Grey did not work, but I did make some new friends when I chatted up some grey garbed women not in the group.

Just my opinion. And I know it is not a popular one.

But as my Grandma always said, "Opinions are like belly buttons, everyone has one". And that is mine.

Had a great trip. The two way hot days were hard though.

Wow, they take a bus from Vegas to Valencia?

I'm gonna have to look this up...

Mac and cheese with bacon??? Sounds good!

    I've still got mine...

It was great. Seemed a long enough trip, but then it was over so fast.

Pencil it in lady, make it work.

I can help out with that. I could probably find you a chimichanga or Mickey pretzel super fast.

I did make some new friends who were not in the group that way. :)

I bet someone still has it saved as a PDF. I think that was on my old computer that bought the farm, but will look into it.

I think by posting here, you pretty much joined the group!! We are way formal like that.

Ugh...I had quoted more, but they disappeared.

    Have a good day all.

Good morning, ladies!! :) Errands and cleaning today. Did the cleaning already, now I am off to Walmart. Just wanted to pop in first to say hello.

Ruth, I love seeing your ticker!!

Nice. I love the rain. No rain here but it is cool and cloudy.

    We luvs Uncle Shirley! :goodvibes

Hey Vanessa, I am so happy to see you posting here. It was nice to get to spend more time with you on the trip. You are a riot. :rotfl:

I'm not a fan either. Not because I am not a fan of the shirts. PLEASE do not mistake the two. I have concerns over reusing the shirts numerous times. I thought we'd reached a compromise on wearing a new one and then the previous years shirt, only to find that it was changed and a new plan set in motion while on the trip.
That's fine. After 6 years of these trips, I have learned you have to be go-with-the-flow, and I am.
I have previously voiced the concerns I have with this plan so I don't feel the need to rehash them. I'm sure it will all work out. I no longer have my purple shirt (a lot of stones were lost, and it got messed up in the wash), my pink one sadly is also starting to lose stones, hopefully the new turquoise one will hold up well in the wash.

I'll join you in wearing purple and pink polo shirts. I'll play newbie since I won't have the matching tee! :rotfl2: Hi, I'm Beth. I'm new to these trips. Could be fun to mess with people. muahahahaha! :stir: Kidding, kidding.

It's all good. The shirts are beautiful. No denying that. Hadn't walked farther than from the Hojo to McDonalds wearing my new Carsland one before I got a compliment on it!! Looking forward to wearing that one again next year.

I do still like orange though. Might have to make my own orange day. :scratchin :lmao:

They do. Not a school bus though. A tour bus. They are young. They can handle it. ;)

It was Jazz Kitchen I tells ya!

I remember, all of us sitting downstairs on a big long table. I either remember meeting your friend Cathy or Callie's friend, and I looked at their tag, and they had no screen name. And then I said something stupid like, oh you are not on the DIS. I didn't mean it to be "mean" but I think some people thought that. I was just trying to connect the faces with their screen names. Anyways, I will never forget the location because of that.

    Doesn't anyone else remember that?
    Please?

If not, then I am getting really old. :worried:

The first year, we did eat at the Jazz Kitchen on Thursday night? There was a gang of us, and service was so slow that it cured me of attending any other group meals EVER!!! I remember I sat next to Cheryl and across from Cristabel....but no one else at the meal.

    Oh, I am OLD.

There was a BB lunch since I remember leaving the group I was touring with and went over to DCA and rode ToT 11 times in a row while they were eating there. That was, I think, Friday. Before the VIP tour.

I'm suppose to be cleaning. But it's not happening anytime soon. Hi Beth. I got the app for my phone so it's keeping me updated. It's nice to be back on the boards. It was great spending time on the trip and thanks but I'm not as crazy as Angie. She had me laughing forever. And I could totally do orange just not jumpsuit orange. I think if we all wore jumpsuit orange they would wonder what crazy place we were all visiting from. :)

Mel - I know the cost involved in doing "reorders" makes running the old designs difficult, if not impossible. Is is possible to print out the older designs on transfer paper (ink jet printer) and then the new gals could iron it on? It would probably be a little smaller than the screen printed shirts, but at least they would have the same design?

Just thinking out loud here. LOL

Also - what did you use to glitter Ligntning McQueen on this year's shirt? Those came out AMAZING!

    Great minds think alike :)

    I'll go! :)

Hi January, do you have a link or a catalog or anything?

    I like it!!!

Can I get the Pirate image? Please? :) And I agree with the necklines, I much prefer a deeper scoop or v-neck. More comfortable. :)

I'd be OK with orange, or we can just go with neon colors.....LOL :)

Jazz Kitchen was the first dinner ever. I do remember that much. lol
But, we probably did Blue Bayou both years. It was popular back then with the group. Then it was dropped in favor of places like Napa Rose and now Carthay Circle.

I want to go back to BB. I love the atmosphere in there so much!

I've never had slow service. Knock on wood!! What usually takes the longest with the group meals I've been to is paying for it. :scared: And, I hate to do math so my hat's off to those who figure out the bill.

Angie is cray-cray, as my kids would say! lol But, we love her that way.
And no jump suit orange. I like a bright, pretty springy orange. Jump suit orange made me laugh though. We could all just have group jump suits. Make all the park guests really stare and wonder.... :lmao:

That's why I was wondering if printing out the designs on iron-on transfers would work for those who are missing previous shirts.

The problem with a different neckline is that when you get into the "fashion" tees, you cut back the color choices and size options. Also, a V-neck would not have worked with either the castle or the Divaland designs without moving the design down which then calls attention to the belly region which, for some, is not where we want people to be looking. :rotfl2:

That would be a sight to see. Over 50 women have swarmed Disneyland with their bright orange jumpsuits. Who are they? And what do they want?

I am thinking that I might wear orange every day. Easy to match my accessories if I only bring one color. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I would be easy to spot. Unlike you, I was thinking a traffic cone (to go with Carlsand) or blaze/jumpsuit orange.

    But that is just me.

    I can see it now:

    Thursday: Orange.
    Fri; Orange
    Sat: Orange
    Sun; Orange.

I could even wear orange on Wednesday, but I will be at work, so no one would get my joke.

Orange, tangerine, cantalope, peach, orangey red, reddish orange.

Oh good golly the options are endless, I tell you!!!!!!

    Ladies,

It looks like I should have kept things as is.

I just thought it was a good idea, and presented it to all of you now.
That is why I said, "I hope you all like it."

I was just trying to help.

For the record. I like orange and V necks too.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That would be hilarious!

Orange every day would make it easy. You could be on to something.

I like bright orange, almost florescent. Think 80's. If you cannot find the other members of the Diva group when we are in bright orange, you need to schedule an appointment with an optometrist. ;)
Bright colors are back in style. I should know. I saw them at Walmart.

Hey girls! There is no catalog...the inventory changes on a daily basis. It is kinda like Scentsy, Avon, Mary Kay....without the high pressure sales pitch. I have parties at peoples homes. I just set up and let them shop with their friends. It is so fun! The stuff is WAY cute. I also can order anything you like and just ship it to ya. I post on my facebook new stuff I am ordering.

Here is the website if you wanna look around!
    http://www.paparazziaccessories.com/13695

    LOL! :lmao:

Mel, I am happy with anything..really. Once we are all together, everything just looks great! Like a nice group of well-behaved ladies. :bitelip:

Right now my clothes consist of stretchy pants and t-shirts decorated with spit up. So,yeah...I will wear just about anything haha.
