So I just have to share some possibly exciting news!! We might be heading down to Disney in May!!

My mom is going down there to visit friends and has asked me if I want to come with Seth. She will be down there for about 3 weeks, so I was a little hesitant cause I don't want us to be away from Dillon that long. Well I talked about it with Dillon, and he says if he can come down and spend a couple days there and then fly back, then we can do it! My mom only asks for help with gas, and I have my AP, so it's not going to cost too much for us to go! If I get the tax return I am supposed to get, then it should be ok to go! :cool1:

Also, looking forward to the summer exchange! :)

Hi Ladies...phew alot going on around here makes it hard to keep up !

I hope everyone has a great Easter/Passover/weekend coming up.

In the final stretch for vacation and I finally got the DH to crack where my surprise dinner was. I have been teasing him with links to Napa Rose the last few weeks , and I guess he felt bad and didn't want me to be disappointed so told me we are actually going to Steakhouse 55 which is still awesome and I'm looking forward to it !

I feel bad he really thinks I would have been disappointed at all..It means alot to me that he wanted to surprise me at all..it could have been Mcdonalds for all I care lol. He admitted he isn't sure if he is ready for the cuisine at Napa Rose since hes a meat and potatoes guy..:lmao:

At least now I can plan what to wear :P

Hope everything is going well otherwise ;)

I felt that way after the pregnancy with my son but once he was about 2 I realized he needed a sibling to bring him down a peg! We had our daughter when he was about three and it sure worked! Luckily the pregnancy with her was a lot easier...except I developed allergies when I was pregnant with her...hadn't had them before and haven't had them since but I sure to appreciate the suffering that people with allergies go through now! I hope the rest of the pregnancy goes smoothly...I always wanted an October baby but ended up with May and June instead!

Awww, so sweet of him to be concerned! Enjoy your wonderful dining experience!

As for me, my son Ryder was in the Primary/Elementary school play tonight. He was the only Primary school kid who got a solo - he played a cat version of Elvis in a song about music through the ages from a cat's perspective! It was really cute! And we found out that the play for next year will be Winnie the Pooh! He will be in Elementary next year so can audition for a main part! Woo hoo!

It sounds like it would end up being the end of the April, beginning of May. We'd be in Disney around the 29th of April.

Thanks guys about Lynn. It has been a crazy ride so far. She is due on the 4th but apparently a few days ago she was having some problems breathing went to the ER and they found she has a small hole in her lung. Not as scary as it sounds apparently it happens and it heals on it's own but being that she is pg they were concerned. She was admitted yesterday morning and ended up getting a cat scan last night and they decided it would be ok for her to do natural birth so they are inducing her this morning so it looks like another day of waiting.

And for those asking she is having a girl. :)

    Good morning, ladies!! TGIF!!
And, happy Good Friday for those of you in observance of this day. :)

Aww, your guy sounds like a sweetie. First to plan something, and then to be worried it wouldn't make you happy. I've never been to SH55 but those who have, loved it! They said it was really good. So, I'm sure it will be a wonderful dinner. :goodvibes I did see on the menu they have a mac and cheese that sounds amazing!! :thumbsup2

I wish I could go!! Not for MA. lol But just to say hello to everyone. Oh, well. Hopefully I'll see some of you in June when we are in WA.

    That's so cool!! Go, Ryder!

    Thinking good thoughts for Lynn.

Thanks Beth. After ALL that I guess they decided she is stable enough that they sent her home LOL. She is not due for another week and for all of us who have had babies we know that they usually won't even THINK about induction till at least a week if not 2 weeks over. I know that happened with me. I was due on xmas day and wasn't scheduled for an induction till Jan 6 or something. BUt then luckily I went into labor on the 31st. Not sure what is going to happen with her and she was NOT happy but she will be back before she knows it. I told Shane to tell her she better get some rest and enjoy this last little bit while she can LOL.

What a roller coaster Kelly! My fingers are crossed for her!

Well, looks like I'm driving to Idaho this weekend, no one can meet me halfway, Cami's car is acting up so she can't do it and no one else can either. That's gonna be fun....10 hours one way, ya....
I thought about plane tickets but can't afford them, thought about the train or a bus but am not comfortable with that at all. So looks like a fun weekend of driving for me. I'm hoping Micah can get Monday off so we can at least stay for Easter but it doesn't look good for that.
Nothing else going on, I am trying to prepare for a long driving weekend.

Yuck Kerri. My 1st husband was from Emmett which is near Boise and practically EVERY holiday that we got at least a 3 day weekend we had to go up there to see his dad. LOOOOONG boring drive. I hated it. Drive safe!

    Good morning,

I hope everyone else is doing okay..I'm really starting to hate Saturdays at my job..and it's not even because of the job..it's my co workers that are incapable of following a schedule. Basically I have been stuck closing from
8am - 6pm every WEEK..even though it says plain as day on the printed schedule everyone gets that I am to "open" which is 8am - 5pm.

It's very annoying that I am the one that gets stuck staying everytime. I don't mind closing..I DO mind following the rules/schedule/always being on time and feeling punished for it..
I know that one of my corworkers prefers to get off at 5pm and for months I was closing..but then was switched..but apparently the rules don't apply to them..and..arrrrgh...:furious:

I hope they have fun next Saturday when i'm off..:drive:

I'm sorry you have such selfish co-workers. It can be absolutely maddening. I have similar circumstances and am very frustrated by the end of the week. (((HUGS)))

Just popping in to say hello! I haven't read back so I hope everyone is doing okay. :)

It's been a good, but busy day here. The men got their hair cut and are looking very handsome. ;) Then we had a bunch of shopping to do, including a stop at Costco where we saw Meri from Sister Wives doing her shopping. Just her, no husband, other wives or kids. I wondered when I'd run into one of them since so much of what they do on the show is filmed in this area. The Melting Pot they went to one night, for example, is just down the street. As are many of the other things they do.

Then I baked another carrot cake since the first one I made went to Ruben's coworkers. One of his coworkers loved the cake so much she wanted to pay me to make one for her Easter dinner. I declined. I don't like pressure! lol When I bake, I want it to be for fun.
We just colored eggs and now it's time for dinner and some Redbox movies.

    Later gators! :wave2:

No problem...if we lived in the same area we could go have drinks and figure put evil immature ways to sabotage them :). I'm usually very kind but when people start taking advantage my evil side makes an appearance ;)

Hi Beth! Have a Happy Easter with your family. I'm headed up to my sisters tomorrow after breakfast with a friend I haven't seen in a while.

    Take care everyone!

    Hello everyone!

Welcome Dawn! my name is Melody. Nice to have you join in on the fun! :dance3:

Wendy, the biggest of Monkey hugs dear!!

Had family from Folsom stop over last night. Made a big pan of chicken tetrazzini, spinach salad, fresh fruit and hot bread. Yum! The chicken tetrazzini is sooooo good, but quite time consuming. A good dish to make ahead of time and toss into the oven when company comes.

So that, along with the house, grandkids and life, is what is up with me. Nothing too earth shattering.

Hope everyone has a very nice and happy Easter!! :goodvibes

Hey, I forgot. Someone new posted here that they are from the Central Valley. Well so am I! Who was that? And where are you from? I'm from the thriving metropolis of Tulare! Hee hee! Redneck country! :rolleyes1
