Capri, I had a similar experience with a song playing randomly in a cafe that was from my mom's memorial slide show. Again, the song was not typical for the setting I was in so I agree with what Wendy said :goodvibes

Good luck with the job search. I am sending good rain thoughts and good job thoughts your way :thumbsup2

Melody and Beth - thanks for posting all the info about the t-shirts. Melody, I loved your comment about posting the picture of the design and can relate. ; ) I had to ask Beth to post pictures for me on the Halloween thread. I have the click my I Phone and post it on FB down - lol- but um, that is the extent of my technical mastery. Sigh. ; )

Thanks. I'll check it out. I really don't think the womens would work for me. I like a non form fitting so I'd have to order larger and then the lenght and sleves would be too long.

Trudi - that's the style now since all the young'ns are "ripped". They want to show it off. LOL The jackets are a 60/40, so they shouldn't shrink much and Port Authority normally runs "standard" in their men's sizes like Hanes and Fruit of the Loom. If you shop at WalMart, I think they carry Fruit in the mens department for their sweats. their sizing should be close to Port Authority. According to the product specs, the PA jacket is a hair roomier and a hair longer but the sleeves are a little shorter than the Hanes version. They also have a version without the hood - the F259

    Ripped.:rotfl2:
I'll have to go to Walmart and try things on. It's the bottom edge that looks too tight. I hate things that ride up with every step. But go a size larger it just gets bulky.

Just to clarify, this info is not for the new Carsland design for the group shirts. This is only if you want to order last trip's DisDivaland design on a hoodie, tote bag or other item.

The new design for the next trip is still be tweaked by Mel's son and will be shown as soon as it's ready. :thumbsup2

    Wait, wait!

I found out the the company is Sport-Tek! But they still are 60/40%, like Port Authority.

Trudi, I thought the men's hoodie was much more roomy! Maybe my "youn'n" girls are rubbing off on me.. LOL! :rolleyes2

Mel I am with Trudi. I think a men's would be better. Lately stuff is so form fitted and when you are plump it doesn't work. Lately even double x seems to be tight. I got a double x on last year's shirts and it is perfect so either a double x ladies or an xl mens. I would much rather it be baggy then too tight!! :)

So, pick the men's! Look at the sizing on the chart and let me know what size you want for sure. :goodvibes

    Thanks! :thumbsup2

Hello, ladies!! It's Thursday....I can see Friday from here. :cool1:

I need to spend this morning cleaning. Adam and Noelle have homecoming this weekend, and Noelle has some friends coming over on Saturday to get ready for the dance. I won't have time tomorrow because as soon as Ruben gets home from work tomorrow night, we are off to the Las Vegas Ren Faire! :hyper: I can't wait. Although, it's much hotter this year than it was this same time last year. Oh, well.

    Have a great day, everyone!

Oh, gotcha. Although to be honest I haven't seen a good view of last year's shirt either. There are pictures on the front page, but not a good close shot of the front of the shirt that I can find. I'm still down for a hoody!

So, I've found something awesome for Seth for Christmas. It's a Mickey Mouse Upholstered chair from Toys R Us. Only problem is its the US site and they won't ship to Canada. We are going to check with our store to see if they can get it in (I've seen the Minnie version here), but if they can't, is there any chance I could send it to one of you awesome American Disers and then ship it to me?? I would pay for it all of course!

:thumbsup2 We've already said that if that happens we will be there! lol

Yup :) I'll be happy to help.

Tonight I'm taking Jade to the corn maze, I'm excited!! We are going to do it in the dark and I'm going to have glow sticks to wear! lol We are meeting a big group there. :)
I also put an event on FB for a Pampered Chef party I'm doing, it's an online only party and I sent a pretty blanket invite out to cover basically everyone. If you aren't interested no problem, just remove yourself from the event, I won't be offended, if any of you aren't on my friends list and might want to look then send me a friend request and I'll add you. :) A friend of mine did a fundraiser through FB and I booked a party from her, a portion of my party sales get donated to her fundraiser as well. :)

Here it is, but remember that the sweats won't be blinged.
