How many times can one say tv? LOL

Anyway, on January1, 2008 channel 246 on Direct TV became TRU tv. Previously, it was Court tv. For weeks, they advertised about the change. I thought they were changing the name of the station. Last week, I came across a thread that mentioned Court TV, and now I wonder if Court tv still exists, but my satellite dropped them?

I thought Court TV became TRUtv. I seem to remember ads saying "Court TV is now TRUtv."

A good friend of mine works for that station and she had to fly to NY to change all of the logos. The point was to make it ACTUALITY TV instead of REALITY TV. I was just worried that my fave shows wouldn't still be on!

Court TV began as a station that focused on actual court precedings. They've evolved from that, especially at prime time. The new name reflects their purpose as it is most of the day.

Court Tv became Trutv a while ago. There was an announcement about it on my Directv screen ages ago.

Crimelibrary.com has become trutv too. I miss the old format and the previous writers. But I'm getting used to the new style. It's amazing how many varieties of evil are out there.

I have only watched Court TV once in a blue moon. I did like it. I imagine their format has changed some too.

They haven't gotten around to repainting their trucks, yet. (I live down the block from the courthouse where they're covering the Entwistle trial.)
