In the past, when Disney has offered free dining - what was offered, if anything, to guests staying at delux resorts?

The annual free free dining promo that started in 2005 has always included the basic dining plan for all levels of resorts - value, moderate and deluxe.

Last year there was a second free dining offer for dates in October - December. The value resorts were only offered the counter service plan for free. The mods and deluxe resorts were, again, offered the basic dining plan.

The deluxe dining plan has never been offered for any type of free dining discount.

Just as an FYI, if you are staying at a deluxe resort usually a % off pin/public code is a better deal than free dining, especially if you can get a 35 or 40% off pin/public code.

Luckily, I did get a pin code. At first I was planning on stay at Pop Century, but then I realized with the % off, staying in a standard room at WL was really only going to cost me $300+ more. DH & I will at the least pay for the Basic DP.
I'm trying to work out figures and see whats better....Staying in a nicer hotel or having the better dining plan..

We were staying in a value and then got a pin, we then thought stay at a moderate, and then went up to AKL and thinking of even going further to a savannah. But then your money is gone:surfweb:
We are now thinking of switching back to a value. My husband is a teacher and doesn't want a loud noisy resort. Any suggestions?
