    Hi all!

For those of you who've cruised in a Deck 2 Oceanview, what did you think? Did you like being so low on the ship? Also is there 1 big window or 2 small? I just found out I got upgraded from my Category 12 Guarantee. I'm midship. Thanks for the imput.

Deck 2 oceanview has one big window. The only oceanview staterooms with 2 small windows are on deck 1.

I can't tell you what I think personally but I have read lots of posts from people who really like being on deck 2. We have 2614 on the 02/05 Wonder and it looks like it will be very convenient.

We always book Cat 9 deck 2. We love it. Easy access to everything and have natural light when we are at sea.

We have been lucky and gotten a SPR for 4 cruises and stayed on deck 5. I never thought that another deck would be so convenient. We have also been on deck 7. We just spent 2 weeks on the repo cruise on deck 2 and now booked the same cabin for the 10 day Wonder. Loved forward deck 2.

My DS and I were on Deck 2 in March 05, and had a great view every morning. We it was so beautiful to see the shore as we were docking.

We booked again for March 06, same Deck.

    Enjoy.

We had room 2112 on the Magic this past April and loved the location. Our room was halfway between the elevator and the laundry room. I found it quiet and not much traffic. I would stay there again.

    stampinshauna ....

Other than the one time I sailed in stateroom 8000 on Deck 8, I have always been lucky enough to sail in a oceanview stateroom on Deck 2 and I had no problems with it. I really like this deck, especially for the price. The windows are the same large ovals as on the higher decks. The only time I even noticed any noise was when we stayed near the back of the ship on Deck 2, in the mornings we heard the ropes going out when we pulled into the ports. But, other then they day we docked to come home, we didn't mind cause we wanted to get up anyway to see us sail into the ports. It was like having an alarm clock in our stateroom. :)
I hope I get as lucky as you and get upgraded from my gtd cat.12 to Deck 2 oceanview!

Congrats on your upgrade and enjoy your upgrade!
