DDP Buffet Question

Hi DISers,

My wife and I are going to be heading to WDW in December with our 18 month old daughter. At buffets, will she be charged for her own plate or will she be able to share from ours? Was wondering if it worked differenty at buffets as opposed to a standard restaurant on the plan.

Children under 3 may eat for free at buffets and all-you-can-eat restaurants. I've never had a problem making up a separate plate for my under-3 children (been to WDW twice with under-3s in tow).
