Anyone know if they care DCL themed tervis mugs? I know they sell the cups but I would really like a tervis mug as I am drinking more hot tea and like the mugs better for that.

I didn't see any on the Fantasy last week, although there were several varieties of the regular and large cups/tumblers.

With that said, I see from your signature that you tend to favor DVC resorts. If you are a member of DVC, note that we got DVC Tervis mugs (one for each member of the family, so we ended up with four, which seemed ridiculous but they assured us it was OK) at the meet-and-greet on embarkation day (before the lifeboat drill and Sailing Away party). Unfortunately, there is no DCL reference on the mug, which would have been neat, but it is an opportunity for a Disney-related Tervis mug if that helps at all.

See, I consider those to be cups, mugs, and tumblers. Whatever you want to call them. :)

The place to really see a selection of randomly themed Tervis is at Florida Publix grocery stores. They have an awesome assortment. DS got a handled (so perhaps that would be considered a "mug"?) Pirate themed one at Publix.

Unless something has changed since January, they look like Tervis but they aren't, and they don't behave as well as Tervis, either.

I just bought an Aqua Duck themed one last month on the Dream and it says Tervis on the bottom.

This is my Tervis "Mug" so a definite difference from the tumblers. I have not seen Tervis "mugs" sold onboard.

This was my first Tervis purchase a few years ago. I got it at the Tervis website before Tervis was on the ships. Funny, our last cruise in March I saw a TON of guests with Tervis merchandise (not just the ones from the ship). Way more than what I have seen on other past cruises. Seems Tervis is really taking off.

Yep. The Magic one I got 2 years ago on the Magic. The striped one I got at www.disneystore.com. Most of the other pics I took on the Fantasy (many just last month)

Thank you for the pictures! And that's great to know :)
Do you know how much they were and if they sell out quickly?
If they sell out quickly, how quickly?

Thank you! :)

If I can remember the large ones were about $24 and the smaller ones $16 or $19. There are many more styles than in the past so I don't think they run out quite so quickly. My next one will be the pirate one (cruisin is in my bones) Love that one!!

Re: the DVC mugs...you are absolutely correct. I had assumed Tervis, because they look like them (clear, double-walled) and came with a top, but I used one this weekend and noticed on the bottom that it not only does NOT say "Tervis" (officially) but DOES say "hand wash only" which is not a Tervis thing (although it should be).

On the Tervis website, there aren't any DCL mugs, but there are anchors and other "sea" sayings as well as a few Disney ones.

What is so great about these Tervis cups, mugs whatever? Just curious.

They can hold hot or cold liquid, come in several sizes, you can add a handle if you want, lots of pretty designs and colors and they are dishwasher and microwave safe. Then to add to that they have a lifetime warranty. I have had several of mine replaced (liquid getting between the two layers) with no problems at all. Love them!!
