    Their policy is confusing.
For 45 days or more it says:

Deposit per Guest for Suites/Concierge staterooms

So if you book a regular room, you don't lose your deposit??

There's definitely going to be layoffs at my job over the next 6 months. Might be me, might *not* be me. If I get laid off, I'd FOR SURE have to cancel our trip. I want to book ASAP to ensure I get what I want (this is for next April) but not if I'm going to lose my deposit if I have to cancel.

FTR, if we were less than 45 days out and I got laid off, we'd still go. At that point everything would be paid off anyways, so not a huge deal if I lost my job.

You might want to re-read the fine print. For cruises of 7 days or less departing from the US, you have to cancel by 75 days to get all your money back. 46-74 days and you lose your deposit. After that you lose more.

For longer cruises or those starting out of the US, the penalty period starts at 120 days.

With less than 75 days you would lose the deposit. Suites/Concierge staterooms always lose at least the deposit. With less than 45 days they lose more.

awesome, thanks. 75 days out puts me around Feb. 3rd or so. I think if I'm going to lose my job it will be way before Feb. So that's 1 less thing I have to to worry about. And God forbid If i ever were to get laid off less than 75 days out, I'd be hard pressed to cancel. Because I'd be SO darn depressed that a Disney trip may be the only thing that could keep me getting out of bed each day, lol.

if you are before the final payment date, your deposit moves to the new date..
if you are after final payment, you lose the deposit..
