Dapper Day (Fall 2015) pics

We had a very small meet on Dapper Day in front of the Golden Horseshoe. I didn't get any pics of the meet with my camera, but I know knewton64 did and MichelleWDWfan may have also. Hopefully they will post their pics too! It was fun to meet the fellow DISers! I had a couple of people stop me to say hi on Saturday, when they recognized my skirt.

Once again, the weather was really warm this Dapper Day! The dates have been moved to May 1st and November for next year. Hopefully it will be much cooler. The park was packed Friday and I heard it closed due to capacity, in the evening. We tried to get a carousel pic, but the line wrapped more than half way around the carousel. We went back Saturday morning though and got on with no wait. The park was so crowded Friday night that we got on the train and just stayed there for about 3 trips around. You really couldn't do much of anything else.

Saturday we dressed up again and attended the Charles Phoenix show, then strolled through the Dapper Day expo and car show, at the Disneyland Hotel.

Sunday we dressed in our tiki attire. The temps were horrible this day...103º in the park! We just went back to hour hotel room mid afternoon because it was so miserably hot! We returned to the park that evening when it cooled off a little.

We were there (by accident) and really enjoyed seeing all the Dapper Day folks. We had lunch at Carnation Café and were seated next to a young, teenage couple who were dressed like the couple from Up. It was adorable.

Those are great pics, rms123!! I loved the tintype photos! That was an awesome addition to the expo. It was kinda pricey for just a pic of myself, but I love the family pics!

Wow! Your family looks fabulous, rms123! I love the tintype picture, too. I thought the Expo had a lot of great additions this year. It was nice that there were about as many dressed up in dapper gear on Saturday as on the actual Dapper Day.

After seeing how I actually looked in my Dapper outfit on Friday, I wasn't keen about pictures. In my head, I looked like a sporty flapper. In reality, I looked like a fat old woman with a saggy slip

That's really cute! I just love the little 'sheet' dresses!!! Cool shoes, too. I think we missed your picture because it was thumbnail size the first time. I see it now LOL
