I have read on this board about a "lockout room" on the 3 br condos at Cypress Pointe. What exactly is this, and if say, we were to rent a two bedroom unit, would there be any noise/privacy issues if they rented the lockout room to another party??? Is this lockout room connected to any 2 br units??? Sounds like a stupid question but better to ask now than worry for months!!! Also, Does CP or CPGV allow mid-week check ins???

The lockout room is the third bedroom in a 3-bedroom unit. It is essentially a second master bedroom (although at CPGV it's more of a studio) with it's own door to the outside and another door which connects to the 2-bedroom unit. The connecting door is a double door, just as in connecting hotel rooms, so both doors have to be unlocked in order for anyone on the other side to gain access to your room. It can be rented separately as a 1-bedroom unit or as part of a 3-bedroom unit. There really shouldn't be a problem with privacy, but noise is another issue. We did have some noise from the lockout unit during our stay, but it wasn't major because most of the time it was empty. And yes, both CP and CPGV allow you to check in/out any day of the week. Hope this helps.

Musky explained it all, I just wanted to add that many of us just rent the 2 bdrm without problems. Having the lockout beside you is no different than having someone in a room beside you in a hotel or motel.
