That's a shame. We went on Easter Sunday 2008 as we wanted to avoid the crowds everywhere else and really enjoyed it.

It had an old-fashioned charm to it and the gardens were beautiful.

Unfortunately for places like this, they can't compete with the likes of Disney (and Universal to a slightly lesser extent) who do everything they can to keep visitors on-site and spending all their cash with them. It destroys the competition.

A bit like what the big supermarket chains do to local shops here in the UK - but don't get me started on that one!

Never heard of this. But as others say must be difficult to compete in a market place with the likes of Disney, Universal and Seaworld.
