So you are picking up a car in MCO and driving to Miami? You want to know what rental car companies have a shuttle from their Miami office to the Miami port? Just clarifying.

Did you check the Official Miami Info Thread? It has some good info and probably has some info you could use.

From MIA to the POM the options are rather limited. We rented a car one way from Budget and took it to a downtown location (SE 2nd), then took a cab (~$10 w/tip) the couple of miles to the port.

Normally we drive down but we were taking a one way cruise and had 8 people plus two weeks of luggage this go-around.

It is fairly easy dropping a car at Miami airport and getting to port. As long as the agency is at the car rental center at Miami international, they have shuttles going to the Port of Miami regularly. Just make sure the rental agency is in the Car Rental Center at the airport. The off premise agencies generally do not have free shuttle service to the port.

To name a few, Alamo, thrifty, enterprise, national have free shuttles from MIA to POM. budget does not. The shuttle driver will ask to see your car rental receipt so make sure you get a receipt when you drop the car off.

Hertz Miami Downtown location HLE has a shuttle to the port of Miami.

If you check Mousesavers there was a Hertz discount code .

We did something similar last spring. Budget has a rental car office very near the Miami port. There were taxis everywhere and it was a breeze getting to the ship and back to the Budget office when it was over.

Most downtown rental agencies will not take you to the port. It really is easy and quick by dropping off a car to the Miami rental car center and taking the shuttle to the port. Maybe 20 minutes at the most.
