We are planning to do a 4-day cruise in September on the Dream. This is our first Disney cruise.

We are thinking about adding 4 days at WDW after. For those that have done this, once you get back to Port Canaveral how long does it usually take to disembark, get to car, drive to WDW? Trying to figure out about what time we would arrive to WDW.

    TIA

    Scott

We went to WDW after our last cruise. We got up early, had breakfast and got off the ship as soon as they said we could disembark. We were off around 7:40 and were at WDW by 9.

That's useful to know I thought it would more like midday.

It depends on how big a hurry you are in. As above, you can get to your resort as early as 9. On the other hand, using the "great" DCL transportation, we didn't arrive till noon on one trip.

we did this too. BUT I wish we did the parks 1st. The cruise is so relaxing then to have the hustle of the parks (oh it was Christmas time also)

Used a car service and was there by 9:30..... did not put our luggage out the night before, had a porter help bring it through customs. Had a Platinum Package planned at WDW and didn't want to waste even PART of a day.
