Story: I was in my car just warming it up while driving on a cool day. As I was driving, I had this HORRIBLE smell come through. I thought something was wrong with my car!!! Then while investigating, found it to be my shoes!!!! What a nasty smell AND.. the heat wasn't blasting fully!!!! I got out of the car and smelled the shoes and UGH!!!! They didn't feel hot but they smelled like they were burning!!!! THIS HAS HAPPENED WITH CROCS AND THE GENERICS FROM PAYLESS!!!

Question: Anyone have this happen??? How about when walking on the hot sidewalks in the summer heat???? OR when they have the heat on in their car???

No - And I even put my CROCS in the dryer and no funk. - :confused3

Another reason - I'd stick with the "real" Crocs....

    Sorry your feet stink. :rotfl:

Never had it happen and I heat mine up with a hair dryer when I first get them so they will comform to my feet right away. I'm sure you didn't have your car's heater on THAT high so I can't imagine that it was fumes from the heat. Maybe you had something on your shoes that WOULD give off fumes? :confused3
