    Hello everyone!

I recently purchased a white brick create your own Vinylmation. I want to use to for character autographs at WDW. I think it would be cool to display somewhere instead of using regular paper that will eventually be stuffed in a drawer never to be seen again. I think signatures on the brick pattern will look like cool graffiti.

My only problem is that I do not know what type of marker/paint to use. My initial choice would be the good ol’ classic sharpie markers. However, I have heard that after a year or so the colors start to fade and you can barely see the yellows, oranges, pinks, and greens. Since I am going for a graffiti look, I really do want to take advantage of multiple colors. I have looked into getting the sharpie oil based paint markers instead of the classic sharpies, but I have read mixed reviews on those. Apparently they take FOREVER to dry and when they do dry they are sticky. Since I am only getting signatures I do not know if this will hold true since I am not painting an entire Vinylmation.

I would like something that will last longer than a year (fade resistant), quick to dry, smear poof, and that will give off a graffiti look (I don’t want it to look like pencil) . Do you guys have any recommendations of what type of marker/paint to use for autographs on Vinylmation? Any comments or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated. This is my first Vinylmation EVER so any tips on the Vinylmation in general would also be appreciated. Thanks!

I posted pictures for you in the other thread that you were asking in. We used fine point multi colored sharpies. That vinylmation is from March of last year so it has been almost a year since it was signed.
