Highly recommend this excursion! I was surprised that it was not more popular - there were only 4 DCL folks participating in our class. There is a classroom with 10-12 cooking stations set up in an indoor classroom setup at Playa Mia. A chef (Oscar) talks you through preparing three courses - appetizer, entrée, and dessert. They change the menu every 4 months. There is lots of good information about Mexican cuisine along the way, and Oscar is a really funny, energetic guy - he definitely keeps you entertained. You sit down with your classmates and eat the food you've prepared. The food is awesome... still can't believe I actually made that stuff! The excursion also includes an open bar and access to the Playa Mia waterpark and beach.
