"Contracts are not signed yet"

I just made my reservations for our upcoming trip. Unprompted, after I made my reservation for Chefs de France, the CM told me that there was no way to indicate the Dining Plan on that reservation yet, because "contracts are not signed yet" with Chefs de France, and that I should check back later in the year to make sure that they'll be participating on the Dining Plan.

Now, to be fair, for all I know, the CM could be a DISer, just repeating what we've heard here through the grapevine. Either that, or it could be a CM who's been told that that's the case by her management.

Restaurants like Chef de France may be getting bad information. They may look at the reservations being made for 2007 as evidence they can do OK without the dining plan. Guests are making reservations assuming Chefs will be added. Many (most?) of those guests will be cancelling the ADR's if Chefs isn't added.

Bicker I know you like Chefs, would you pay OOP?

That's my point. My guess is very few MYW Dining guests would pay OOP for Chefs de France. It's a shame the reservations being taken doesn't indicate that the guest anticipates purchasing MYW Dining. That would give Chefs an idea as to how many reservations are really tentative.

Thats good news. I dont know I dont feel the CM would have mentioned contracts werent signed yet if it wasnt told them by management.. I take this as a good sign for the 2007 Plan.. Hope to hear defanite news soon tho..
