Is there a list of rooms that are on Connecting rooms anywhere? I've done a search both here and google and can't seem to find a list of the " connecting rooms"

I don't think there is a list. You have to look at the deck plans. Connecting rooms will have a little triangle indicating which rooms connect.

    :cutie:

EDIT: when you look at the deck plans, the rooms that connect have a little arrow on the wall between them, not a triangle.

Almost all of the rooms connect on the Fantasy and Dream, very few are non-connecting. If you look at the floor plans of the staterooms, you will see a little arrow in-between the rooms that represents a connecting door. Or if you go to DCL's website and bring up the virtual floor plans you can scroll over certain stateroom's and the little box that pops up will say if it connects to another stateroom.

As a follow-up, do the veranda rooms actually connect or do they just have "connecting" verandas? I thought I had two rooms with just connecting verandas but from what I've been reading, we may have rooms that actually connect. TIA!

From what I have read, if you have a room that connects to another room then your verandas will also connect in a way. My understanding from looking at the pictures and talking with DCL is that on the verandahs your stateroom host/hostess can open up part of the partition between the two connecting staterooms. The pictures make it look like the partition is still there and only the first 1/3 of it opens up almost like a little door. I don't know if two rooms that don't connect still have the option of the verandas being opened.

Right. Part of the verandah divider is like a door. The part closest to the railing is the door part that can be unlocked and swung back to the non-door part closer to the ship's wall. Therefore, when opened up, you'll still have a short partition between the 2 verandahs, but an approx 3 ft gap to walk from one verandah to the next along the railing.

Don't remember if the partition is like that on both sides or just the side where the rooms are adjoining. I'll have to dig out the trip photos to see if I captured it.

We had adjoining rooms on the Fantasy a few weeks ago...6000 and 6002. These room are all the way Forward on Deck 6. I cannot say enough great things about these staterooms! No verandah, but I didn't pay a verandah price either!!! With a family of 6, we had so much room!

Our friends cruising with us had two staterooms with verandahs and their stateroom host, Mario (who is awesome, by the way!) opened up the partition so they could go back and forth to both. It was really nice!

    Enjoy!

We had a non-connecting room on the Dream and both sides of our verandah could be opened to connect with the one next to us.

I'm glad you loved your rooms! My family of 6 has rooms 7000 and 7002 booked for August 2013.

I hope you love yours as much as we did! You will have a better view than we did, but still, no complaints here!!! I loved being Forward, our hallway was private and quiet. We had no issues with magnets being taken off our door or gifts being taken from our FE. We loved our stateroom host and I was comfortable with our girls going back and forth. We used the forward stairs mostly and I think they are the least used!

Someday, I will take the time to learn to post pictures. I just loved, loved, loved our staterooms and have great shots of them.

Enjoy your cruise in August...so jealous!!!

We just got off the Fantasy on Saturday and had connecting rooms 7544 and 7546. There were connecting doors inside the stateroom as well our verandahs were opened so they connected as well. Yes, there was still a 3ft or so section still between but we could all still sit 3 adults and 3 kids, enjoyably!!!

There were fantastic magnets on the doors between the staterooms so they had no problem staying open.
