HIYA DIS BOARDS HOW’S IT GOING?!
Did you miss me? I know you did, who wouldn’t?! I am here after a V E R Y long hiatus to tell you about my most recent trip to the most magical place on earth: Walt Disney World!! This is my 3rd Disney World TR here on the Dis, if you haven't read the other two there are the links:

With all that said, let’s move on to the introductions!!

Hey there! I’m Hollye and I will be narrating this adventure for your reading pleasure! This was my 5th visit to WDW and my first trip that I had total control of planning! I have loved Disney for 3 years now and am all over the Disney Youtube, Instagram and Twitter scene! I mean I've been to Disney 4 times from February 2014- September 2015 so that should tell you something! HA! Every time I visit WDW it gets harder for me to leave so I will definitely be attending the DCP in the near future. And plan on making a career out of my Disney love. My favorite princess is Aurora and my favorite Disney food is the Dole Whip.

Hot Momma

This is my Mother (yes we are Mother and Daughter NOT Sisters. We got that a lot on this trip lol). If you have followed me for a while, you may know that in 2012 I drug Hot Momma to Star Wars Celebration and she was the best little travel buddy! So naturally, I asked her to come with me for a Disney adventure!! She said she felt like I was the parent and she was the child on this trip because she was constantly asking me where we were going, when we were eating, and what we were doing haha! I haven't technically been on a Disney vacation with her since 2006 because all of my recent trips have been with other family or friends. Mom isn’t a Disney fanatic like myself but I think her favorite character is Pooh and her favorite food is a Dole Whip as well!
Now before we start, just a few more deets..

Who: we already covered that one!
What: A Mother/Daughter trip! We had originally planned for this to be a girls trip with my sister but unfortunately she couldn’t get out of school.
When: September 15th-20th (yes, that means we went to MNSSHP!!)

Why: Because it had been 9 months since I had been to Disney and I needed to feed the obsession.
Where: All Star Sports Resort with a (free) quick service dining plan.

September 15th, 2015

"I'm Trip Reporting About This!!"
I woke up at a nice and ripe time of 6:00AM. Not because I needed to board a plane, but because I had to go to school. WOMP WOMP. That was literally the longest school day of my life!! Thankfully I have some coffee to get me going! I even drank it out of my refillable mug!

I was super excited because I knew I would be soon getting a new mug design!! Yeah, mugs excite me... what else is new!?
When school FINALLY let out, my Dad picked me up and dropped me off at home! I finished packing while Laura (my sister) went to get Hot Momma and I some Panera! When Laura got back, we threw our suitcases in the car and started down the interstate!
Here’s my dinner:

I got the tomato and mozzarella flatbread sandwich (or something like that) it was not that great but I wasn’t too mad because I would be eating Disney food!
I also got the BBQ chicken salad which is ALWAYS delicious!

When we were about 5 minutes down the interstate, Hot Momma realized she had forgot her phone.
Because we had already left for the airport slightly late, I was starting to get pretty anxious while we turned back around to get her phone, I told Mom “I’m trip reporting about this!!”. She found that pretty funny
After a bathroom stop, heavy traffic, and lots of stress we made it to the airport.
Mom and I said goodbye to Laura, checked our bags and got through security with no problem! We headed to our gate and tried to chill out a little bit haha.


We took this picture just before boarding! If you are wondering, I’m wearing one of covergirl’s new Star Wars lipsticks. It’s from the dark side line and I’m in love with it!!

Also, I thought I would take this time while I have you so enthralled that I would show you the pins I originally started out with. The ones on my lanyard aren’t traders

OH, and this is how I decorated my magic band! It's a Mickey bar! Mom just left hers plain yellow.

ANYWAYYYY We boarded our first plane and actually left a little early! I’m not going to lie, this first leg of the trip was not that great, I don’t know if I was still jittery from the crazy trip to the airport or what but the whole ride I was having a hard time not getting a mini panic attack.
The good news is we landed to our connecting airport safe and sound! After an hour layover, We boarded our next flight to Orlando!! This flight went MUCH better! Maybe it was because I had a little Anakin close by or maybe it was the beautiful view!!

Oh, I guess I should mention that I’m OBSESSED with all things Star Wars but especially Anakin Skywalker.
I also listened to some Disney music because why would you not?!

We landed around 11:00 PM and went to grab our luggage. Unfortunately, Magical Express doesn’t pick up baggage after 10PM. The good news is, nobody stole our luggage and it didn't get lost!
After getting thoroughly lost last February, I knew exactly where to go for ME! Pretty soon, we saw a glorious CM and got to scan Mickey to Mickey for the very first time (in a few months)!! We literally walked right on our bus. There were maybe 5 families already on the bus and the videos they were playing while the bus was waiting were HILARIOUS I especially loved the babies dressed like Dapper Dans who had different mouths and had the voice of grown men.

After 20 minutes or so, we passed through the glorious purple gates. IM HOOOMEEE

After stopping at Coronado Springs, We made it to ASSports!! Even though I wasn’t too pumped to be staying at this resort, (I originally wanted to say at ASMu) It was nice that it was the closest of the All Stars to the gate because we always got dropped off and picked up first on all the busses!
We went to check in and OH MI GOSH THE LINE TOOK FOREVER.
They only had two CM’s working at the desk and we probably waited for 30-40mins before we could check in! When we finally made it, I realized that once again none of my requests had been fulfilled... I asked for the section closest to transportation and to be on the ground floor and we got placed in the very back of the resort (Baseball section) on the 2nd floor. YAAAAAYYY…
It honestly wasn’t that bad, it just really stinks to have to walk so far after an exhausting day at the parks. After going to the wrong building (twice) we found our room!

Is it just me or do all the rooms always have terrible lighting?!

After taking these pictures, Hot Momma and I quickly got ready for bed because it was 1:00AM and we had a 8:20 AM ressie at MK the next morning!

September 16th, 2015 (Part 1)​

A Day In The Life Of An Awko
Taco
We woke up not so bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning at 6AM. (I’m pretty sure I like to kill myself).
But that's okay because IT WAS DISNEY DAAAAYYYYY!!!

Mom and I showered and left for the bus stop around 7:10AM! We were only 10 mins. off schedule which was pretty good! We only had one ressie for this trip and I was actually glad about that because ADRs always make me feel kinda rushed! That being said, the food is TOTALLY worth it but I digress...

On our way to the bus stop Mom realized that she had forgotten her sunglasses in the room (see the trend here?) We decided that there wasn't enough time to go back to the room and that I wanted to buy a pair of sunglasses anyway so we would grab some on the way into the park.

ASSports now have monitors outside to tell you when the busses are coming!! (I took this on a different day). Mom said the only way they could improve in this was to have that screen also be a channel on the TV in everybody's room! Our bus came semi-quickly and we were on our merry way!

We arrived at MK and it was already pretty busy and VERY humid! LOOK AT THE HALLOWEEN DECOR AHFHFFJGGJ

There are more decoration pictures to come I just wanted to get in the park. I'm sure you feel me.
We got there around 7:45ish and the park didn’t open until 9. We got our bags checked and checked in for our ressie! They let us in on the left entrance and we stopped at the little shop right past the gate and tried to find sunglasses. They were so expensive I just couldn't get myself to buy any. After that we emerged on Main Street!

The park was already moderately busy for pre-park opening!

I was so excite to see the new hub expansion! It’s so gorgeous! I couldn’t wait to get in that hub grass! I think it was blocked off at that particular time though…

BUT IT'S OKAY BECAUSE MICKEY PUMPKINS

You wouldn't believe how many tries it took to get a good shot of this. I was jumping like a moron for a good two minutes

If you read my last trip report, you'll know that I try to keep my Disney selfie game is strong. Haha!

So after our little photo shoot, we saw that everything was blocked off except for the path through Liberty Square so that’s the direction we headed in. It had gone from being sticky and humid to perfect 70's and breezy since we had gotten off the bus. The weather this trip was cray.

September 16th (Part 2)

"Try The Breakfast, It's Delicious." Or IS It??
We were arrived about 8:10AM for our 8:20AM Be Our Guest reservation!

But they handed us a rose/pager anyway and sent us on in. We had pre-ordered online so we checked in through the 1st counter and scanned our bands at the second counter and went to sit down. Hot Momma and I chose to sit in the ballroom because That's where I sat in February 2014 and I just love it! It’s straight out of the movie!

The ballroom was probably about halfway full and it was already pretty loud in there.
We sat right beside the drink counter and Mom went to grab a water and coke for us. Ah, the constant struggle of knowing you need to drink water but wanting soda. Anyone with me?

They brought out our food surprisingly quick! Maybe 5 minutes?
I had the eggs florentine with no spinach. Like most reviews I’ve heard, BOG breakfast was just kinda Meh. My eggs had this garlic flavor that I didn't really care for and the pastry had no flavor at all. The ham was quite thick and just okay. I didn't even try the tomatoes because ain’t nobody got time for healthy food in Disney!

Mom got the vegetable quiche. She, on the other hand LOVED her breakfast! I tried a bite and I definitely liked hers better too! The veggies had great flavor!

So for every 3 people in the party, the breakfast also comes with one pastry platter. I knew going into this that we would never be able to eat all of these in one go. So, I brought a ziploc bag to bring them along for later. I did try the blueberry muffin with breakfast and it was YUM! Actually all of those parties were REALLY good! I would have been happy just having those for my breakfast. ALL OF THE CARBS!!!

So all that being said, I would definitely recommend going! Just be careful what you order. BOG breakfast gets you into Beast's castle for a QS price, gets you in MK before opening AND has some pretty good options. It is on the pricer side (all adult meals are $19.99) but since we were technically eating there for free it was TOTALLY worth it for us. I've never been to BOG for lunch, only breakfast and dinner but I have heard that it's better than breakfast... I'll have to try it on my next trip and report back.

We finished around 8:45AM and on our way out I just had to take a picture of the drink station because it was so cute and fancy!!

I showed Hot Momma the other two rooms of the castle since she has never been. I didn't take a picture from the West Wing because I was too busy trying the get out of the server's way. They were moving at Test Track speeds with those food carts! Haha!

Then we headed to the restrooms before going outside. Gah I love this mosaic

We stopped on the bridge because I wanted a good picture of the rest of fantasyland behind me but it looks like I just got mostly trees. Oops..

Fantasyland was still so empty!!

I thought rides still wouldn’t be operating since technically park wasn’t open but we saw 7 Dwarfs Mine Train already running with people on it so Mom and I ran over to the line! I figured this would be the only opportunity to ride this since its wait times are always super crazy.

Okay, they just let us through the fastpass line and we literally walked on, front row to this ride! I couldn't believe our luck!! If you read my last TR you will know that I was actually in MK for the press release of 7DMT but never actually got to ride it. I thought the ride was cute and fun but being more of a thrill seeker myself, I don’t think I would wait 2+ hours for it..
We didn't purchase MM but creepily, some of our ride photos still showed up in MDE and we didn't even scan our bands anywhere. BUT this ride photo was on there and our faces are HILARIOUS. It looks like we were thinking "I really want to love this ride but it's not working"

When we got off the CM was like "Do want to ride it again?" Mom and I were both like “....Nahhh” that CM looked at us like we were crazy! Haha! When we crossed the path to get on Winnie the Pooh we realized why. We saw the park opening crowd literally swarming to 7DMT it was INSANE! So we avoided that and hopped on the Winnie the Pooh because who doesn’t love that ride?!

It’s adorable and was walk on! I was pretty excited to ride this because: A) it reminded me of my teacake trip. B) Winnie the Pooh was basically my childhood. And C) I have recently finished the first book in the Kingdom Keepers series (yes I know, TOTALLY late to the game) and there was a particular scene in that book that involved this ride and it was pretty cool! I won’t spoil it for you but I would totally recommend the book if you haven’t picked it up.

After making our way through the Hundred Acre Wood, we poked around the gift shop for a minute then walked back outside. Mom and I were shocked that the line for 7DMT was already out of the queue and wrapped around close to Storybook Circus. Yeah, definitely glad we went ahead and did that! So instead of waiting in a hour+ line, we made our way back to Storybook Circus to do a first for Hot Momma and I...

THE WALT DISNEY WORLD RAILROAD!!! WOOOOO!!

Wait, you aren’t excited? This isn’t a popular attraction?! Oh…

Yeah, I had never done the train because it isn’t that popular and I don’t think many people are aware you can actually ride on it. But I’m a girl who loves those underappreciated attractions so I was pretty pumped!
We were the first to board at the Fantasyland Station, they actually had to take down the ropes for us so we could wait.

The train came in about five minutes and before they let us on the train actually filled up with water from the water tower. This fascinated me because I had just assumed that was there just for decoration.. ANYWAY we were told to get on the last car so that’s where we sat ourselves. There were other people on the train but they were in the front car so I have no idea why this CM felt the need to put us in solitary confinement…
oh wait..

It turned out working out just fine because this meant I could vlog (video log) for my sister without getting judged lol! The train stopped at the Main Street station but we wanted to say on so I took this picture instead. MK was already CRAZY!!

How cool!! Graduating with a Masters is definitely something to celebrate! That's a lot of hard work! I haven't spent a large amount of time back there but, I know that's where they moved Dumbo, have the Barnstormer, I think you can meet Minnie, Daisy Donald, and Goofy. There's also this little water park for kids to cool off. It's pretty adorable!

I'm still here! Just didn't finish my TR as the photos were not being my friends and I just gave up!! Bad disser I know and I mainly lurk but when I saw yours I had to comment!!

Ah, that would be so annoying! I totally don't blame you, TRs are A LOT of work!

September 16th, 2015 (Part 3)

Monkeys, Trains and Snakes. OH MY.
The train took us on around through Frontierland and I about had a spaz attack when it went over the end scene in Splash Mountain and I wasn’t prepared for that. If you were on that train, I hoped you enjoyed my rendition of “Zip-a-dee-doo-dah” while I was singing it at the top of my lungs. Oh Splash, how I love you so. I also loved the narration while going around MK.
I apologize for the lack of pictures but I was taking this time to catch up on social media, reply to my friend's texts and relaxing.
I did get some pictures from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!

After stopping at Frontierland, then Fantasyland again, we got off at Main Street to get on the bus! We saw the carriage out front!

I kinda wanted to ride it but I didn’t know if you can just get on plus, we were on a mission.

Originally this whole day was supposed to be spent at Hollywood Studios. We were going to wake up, eat BOG, go back to the room to rest, then head to HS around 11ish. WEEELL, while on the train I was texting a family friend who’s currently on her DCP. She told me I should come visit Rafiki at Animal Kingdom because he was being extra fun today. So we decided to forgo the resting (no sleeping in Disney, right?!) and just go on to AK. The only problem was, Mom still needed sunglasses and I wanted to change shoes because I thought it was going to rain and I didn’t want to get my white Converse dirty. So we made our way back to Sports.

When we got in line for Sports it was probably 9:30ish and the CM told us that another All Star Sports bus wouldn’t be coming until 11am. So we had to get on an All Star Movies bus and the driver would just take us to Sports. There was a lady needed to so they same and said she was glad we asked because she would have just sat and waited for two hours waiting for the bus.

There were only like 5 other people on that got on with us which was rare on this trip. The busses were usually crazy full! I guess not many people wanted to leave MK right after opening. It's shocking, really.
Mom tried the chocolate muffin from BOG on the way to the hotel and said it was very good!
We arrived at Sports and decided to grab our refillable mugs from the food court so we could get some caffeine! I got red and Hot Momma got green. I love the new design, it's adorable!The food court was absolutely crazy, there were people everywhere! It felt so late in the day but we realized it was only 10ish and people were just getting started for their day haha.

We went to the wrong building AGAIN and had to go back out and find the right one.
When we finally got back to our room, we grabbed some ponchos, extra shoes and such, and left the pastries from BOG so they wouldn't get crushed. I made the mistake of sitting on the bed and was sooooo tempted to take a nap. But NO SLEEPING IN DISNEY, HOLLYE!!
So instead, we headed to the bus stop.
An AK bus came for us and we piled on with many others. The All Star’s are just a hop and a skip to AK so we were there in no time!

We headed to the entrance and went through bag check. The security guard turned out to be from the same state as us which was pretty cool! He was very serious about his job though and didn't seem like he wanted to chat.

So we were in a pretty big hurry because even though Rafiki was going to be out all day, we were looking for him at a specific time which was 11:30. I haven’t really had much time to visit AK so I don’t know the park very well. We grabbed a map and asked a CM how to get to the train for Rafiki’s Planet Watch. It’s conveniently in the back of the park.

We eventually found the train station and boarded our second train for the day! At this point, it was 11:25ish and it was HUMID. The weather was so bipolar this trip I don't even know. We made it to RPW and rushed to the main building (probably a 2-3 minute walk) and literally walked up at 11:29 right when Rafiki was going on break. Oops…

Thankfully, fun Rafiki was coming back out at 12:00. SO we just hung out in the AC and looked at the animals. There was this box turtle being put through these series of tests where it was supposed to go to a smaller little cylinder and it would be rewarded by a treat. The little guy was doing great, I was impressed.

Then we made it over to the bugs and snakes. I was THOROUGHLY creeped. I refused to even take pictures because, ew.
After looking at all of that, we *still* had time so we went around the rest of the building looking at the conservation information they had and more animal enclosures. They had these little booths that you could go in and watch videos about the rainforest (I think). But I decided against doing that since I didn't know how long it would take. They also have a little petting zoo but we were too tired and hot to go back outside.
Even though a zoo can’t hold a candle AK, this building probably is the most zoo-like thing in the entire park. That being said, I still thought it was really cool!!

Finally it was time to go meet Rafiki! He was the cutest! He spun me like a princess and kissed my hand. I told him that I should marry Simba so I could become a queen(sorry Nala )! I told him he would have to turn me into a lion though. He thought he could do that. Haha!

Hot Momma got in on the action!

Once we said our goodbyes to Rafiki we made a bathroom break and went back outside. MAN. It was pretty sweltering hot. We trudged our way back to the train station and boarded within 5 minutes. Apparently, some kid had left their fake snake in the train seat but when a lady held it up to give it to a CM I thought it was a real snake and almost had a heart attack.

After that scare, we made our way back to the station and *tried* to get out of the park. (key word: tried).

Somehow we got ourselves thoroughly lost.. But that’s okay because we just got to explore the park! I loved this food truck, I’m pretty sure it’s an ice cream truck and it’s gorgeous!

Somehow, we found ourselves near lots of construction (for Pandora I assume?) and the Finding Nemo show!
Low crowd season? I think not!

Then we popped out into Harambe and went in search of water! We get distracted easily. Lol

We ended up getting it from a little hut near Harambe where the CM didn’t look too excited to be giving us free ice water. Sorry lady, but we gotta HYDRATE.

Then we finally found our way to the front of the park and got on a bus for Hollywood Studios!!

Joining! I have the same problem with AK, I really need a park map to not get lost. During my 1st visit in 2012, I had a moment where I had to ask 3x to get to the exit...
