Would someone explain the difference between the kids club and the "lab" that everyone refers to?
Also, will our 4,5 and 7 year olds be able to stay together or will they get separated out into age groups?

    Thanks!!

The Club and Lab used to be separate clubs with separate age groups. But, apparently, too many parents were complaining about not being able to "have their kids together".

So, now it's Oceaneer's Club/Lab. One big area. There is a (sort of) separation into two areas: the Club, with activities aimed at the 3-7 age group; and the Lab, with activities aimed at the 8-12 age group. But any child in the Club/Lab can participate in whatever activities appeal to them. There's a lot of flow between the two areas.

Whenever one area has open house, all the kids who are there without parents have to go to the secured side of the club/lab.

Ahhh! Thanks so much! Just trying to figure out how to describe it to them and let them know how it works.

As mentioned, they can all stay together in whichever space they want to play in. My 2 kids enjoyed the lab more than the club even though they were 4 and 7. The activities in the club are geared for the younger kids while the lab has activities geared for older kids. But, they can do whatever stuff they want. Try taking a look at some of the daily Navigators that people have posted to get an idea of what sort of activities they have.

My kids loved the lab for the following activities: Acids and Gasses science experiments, Flubber making, Magic show, Piston Cup racing, dodgeball, computer games, etc.
