Just wondering if there is anywhere close to the quiet pool on the Inn side to refill our mugs?

A WV can also be located on the side rooms looking over the grassy area near the porch. We had booked a WV room the last time we stayed and almost received one of those rooms (we politely asked if we could be on the BW instead) and the Manager explained this to us - as long as you can see the water, even by turning your head, it's a water view lol.

We loved overlooking the Village Green area since we could still see the water/dock/boats and the Boardwalk and performers plus it was a tad quieter than being directly on the BW. We requested to overlook the Village Green in Nov/ Dec it will be nice to look out and see the Christmas Tree they place there

In hindsight, I wish we had stayed with that room - we were moved to one right on the BW and the seagulls pooped all over it daily - the poor maintenance people were up there cleaning it every morning, but by late afternoon, full again! We couldn't even sit out there. Sometimes you are just better sticking with whatcha get :-)

roydavid-We fly out Aug 10th. Will be DH, DD, her BFF, and me of course. We stay on the Inn side Club Level where the best CMs ever are:thumbsup2

So, I was on page 20 of what evidently was the old thread! So now I have to read this thread, but I'm too excited to sit still. My wait list for the last 2 days of my trip for BWV came through!! YAY!! Time to read so I know what view to request, pool or garden?? EEEEK! So excited!! :dance3:

I was following this thread because BWI was a top contender for a stay for just DH and me for Night of Joy. I wanted to try a resort we'd never stayed at and we like the Epcot area. I read the entire thread over the past few days and by page 60 or so I was hooked. All the wonderful information convinced me to stay here for our trip next week! This morning we switched from SSR 2BR (which I found I wasn't looking forward to nor were my girls) to a garden cottage at BWI. I'm excited about the trip again! :) Club level in a resort area we love.

im staying CL in a cottage in march. would love to hear what you think of it after your stay! have fun!!:cheer2:

Well hello everyone! First post! :cool1: Anyway I have a quick question, we are leaving for BWV in a week  and I am curious about the coffee maker in the room. We have a one bedroom villa. Is it a generic Mr coffee style machine or a Keurig that uses the special cups?

Thanks in advance!

I believe they are just generic simple coffee makers. I will certainly be packing extra filters for our trip and some take away cups so we can just make our own coffee in the morning save money and time!!!

WELCOME TO THE DIS :wizard:

So sorry to hear you had seagull issues. Oh that would not be good at all :sad1: we really enjoy the balcony in fact we ordered room service Breakfast our last morning and ate out on the balcony which might not have been possible if there were seagulls around

Will keep that in mind when we go to check in.

The DVC villas do not have the Cuisinart coffee makers like the hotel rooms. They all have the Mr Coffee style coffee maker. Basket style filter.

Well we finally made it! We finally arrived at boardwalk villas at around 230 Saturday morning. We're in room 2107 which faces the main entrance to the resort. View is blocked by shrubs, but we're just here to crash. Room is I'm great shape, and staff here couldn't be nicer! Had lunch at Beaches and Cream across the lake, and had a great dinner at the Wave at the Contemporary. TOTWL wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be, but still plenty busy.

Saw a couple of your groups in our adventures, one of them a huge group if about 80 people! For the most part, they were pretty well behaved , except for the few annoying kids that had no chaperone. No worries though, it was a great first day here!

Will be checking into a 2BR later today since the in-laws are starting to come in today. Feel free to ask any and all questions, I'll try to check in throughout our stay here!

Sorry for the typos, tough to post on my iPhone sometimes!

Hello all. I recently booked my first stay at BWI (April 2013) and we will be staying in a club level room (first time for that too). I just received a welcome email from Disney's Itinerary Planning Team with a very high level description of what they offer.

Can anyone who has stayed in a club level room let me know what type of things they typically request of the IPO before arrival? Along the same lines, can you describe some of the services offered by the club level concierge staff you typically utilize during your stay?

I want to be sure I get the most out of my club level stay but am a little unclear about what exactly the staff can do for me.

Thanks! :)

BWI CL is great! If you need assistance with ADR's they will help. Also if anyone in your party has special food needs, it'd be good to start that conversation now. The CL CM's will give you advice on various tours, etc and help with overall trip planning should you need that type of help.

I like making my own ADR's and have no special needs in the family--I only have asked one question about a tour and was given an honest assessment of the trip and decided against it :goodvibes

I assume you read the whole beginning of the thread and understand that you'll be escorted upstairs to the CL check in desk. FWIW, we've always done online check in and it's a breeze to check in when you get there.

Have fun...we're second guessing ourselves right now. I book AKL CL since we'll have the DGKs with us and hope it's as nice as BWI.

There may be another post with this question but with 95 pages its hard to look through all of them. Does anybody have pictures of the hide-a-bed folded out in the boardwalk villas studio? Is it comfortable for an adult to sleep on?

Thanks!

That is one of the more comfortable sleeper sofas. They flip from the back and the cushions stay attached to help support the foot of the bed. The pillows are blankets are stored in a little compartment inside the bed. You'll see them when you start to flip the back forward. My son has slept on them a few times.

We are staying BW CL in Dec. A few weeks before our ADR date we received an email for all of our planning. You can give them all of your ADR choices, any tours/golf you want booked, any transportation they can arrange for you, special occassions/celebrations, childcare.

IPO did a great job with all of our ADRs. Most were the exact time we wanted, only a couple were within 5-10min. We also had them book our Candlelight Processional pkg when those came avail. They also took care of our Magic Express booking as well as kids club for one evening.

IPO is great to work with, quickly answer questions.

From everything I hear, the CMs at Inkeepers Club are some of the best.
