A WV can also be located on the side rooms looking over the grassy area near the porch. We had booked a WV room the last time we stayed and almost received one of those rooms (we politely asked if we could be on the BW instead) and the Manager explained this to us - as long as you can see the water, even by turning your head, it's a water view lol.
We loved overlooking the Village Green area since we could still see the water/dock/boats and the Boardwalk and performers plus it was a tad quieter than being directly on the BW. We requested to overlook the Village Green in Nov/ Dec it will be nice to look out and see the Christmas Tree they place there
I was following this thread because BWI was a top contender for a stay for just DH and me for Night of Joy. I wanted to try a resort we'd never stayed at and we like the Epcot area. I read the entire thread over the past few days and by page 60 or so I was hooked. All the wonderful information convinced me to stay here for our trip next week! This morning we switched from SSR 2BR (which I found I wasn't looking forward to nor were my girls) to a garden cottage at BWI. I'm excited about the trip again! Club level in a resort area we love.
In hindsight, I wish we had stayed with that room - we were moved to one right on the BW and the seagulls pooped all over it daily - the poor maintenance people were up there cleaning it every morning, but by late afternoon, full again! We couldn't even sit out there. Sometimes you are just better sticking with whatcha get
Well hello everyone! First post! Anyway I have a quick question, we are leaving for BWV in a week and I am curious about the coffee maker in the room. We have a one bedroom villa. Is it a generic Mr coffee style machine or a Keurig that uses the special cups?
Thanks in advance!
thanks for your tips!! sounds like flying fish is a favorite!
So glad your wait list came through, Kathy! So, I was on page 20 of what evidently was the old thread! So now I have to read this thread, but I'm too excited to sit still. My wait list for the last 2 days of my trip for BWV came through!! YAY!! Time to read so I know what view to request, pool or garden?? EEEEK! So excited!!
to the DIS and the BWI/BWV thread, Koen!Well hello everyone! First post! Anyway I have a quick question, we are leaving for BWV in a week and I am curious about the coffee maker in the room. We have a one bedroom villa. Is it a generic Mr coffee style machine or a Keurig that uses the special cups?

roydavid7771 said:Well we finally made it! We finally arrived at boardwalk villas at around 230 Saturday morning. We're in room 2107 which faces the main entrance to the resort. View is blocked by shrubs, but we're just here to crash. Room is I'm great shape, and staff here couldn't be nicer! Had lunch at Beaches and Cream across the lake, and had a great dinner at the Wave at the Contemporary. TOTWL wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be, but still plenty busy.
Saw a couple of your groups in our adventures, one of them a huge group if about 80 people! For the most part, they were pretty well behaved , except for the few annoying kids that had no chaperone. No worries though, it was a great first day here!
Will be checking into a 2BR later today since the in-laws are starting to come in today. Feel free to ask any and all questions, I'll try to check in throughout our stay here!
Hello all. I recently booked my first stay at BWI (April 2013) and we will be staying in a club level room (first time for that too). I just received a welcome email from Disney's Itinerary Planning Team with a very high level description of what they offer.
Can anyone who has stayed in a club level room let me know what type of things they typically request of the IPO before arrival? Along the same lines, can you describe some of the services offered by the club level concierge staff you typically utilize during your stay?
I want to be sure I get the most out of my club level stay but am a little unclear about what exactly the staff can do for me.
Thanks!
There may be another post with this question but with 95 pages its hard to look through all of them. Does anybody have pictures of the hide-a-bed folded out in the boardwalk villas studio? Is it comfortable for an adult to sleep on?
Thanks!
