We did it by ourselves, we just did one day tours to ensure we get to see as much as possible. I could never do do a tour group trip.

Day 7.8

Then we went into a building or courtyard and saw this.

Here is the courtyard of the place.

oh look where we are. LOL.

Then we were back in the piazza from before.

So many statues.

Love his hat. LOL.

Then I went to look at the church.

I like how the statue is between the two towers.

Looks like work might have been being done.

Then I moved onto another area.

Day 7.9

Here is our ticket and what museum we were at.

While waiting in line I decided to run over and get a water. What a ripoff. I think I paid $7 for a bottle of Evian that was small. Oh well I was thirsty. I went back to the line and soon enough we were in.

The guide said we could walk up the stairs or there was an elevator. I think most of us walked up and boy oh boy were there a lot of stairs. LOL.

I have to agree with everyone else - those statues are amazing pieces of artwork. Just incredible and so lifelike. It must take a lot to get them properly restored since so many of them are exposed to the elements.

The museum looks so cool. That ceiling alone is just stunning!

I can't imagine how they do the upkeep on them all.
The ceilings I wanted tot cut down and bring home. Gorgeous. The pics do them no justice.

Day 7.10

We were now moving along and you will now see a lot of art.

As you will see I get a lot of heads and arms in my pics from this point on. Our guide was really good at doing it. He spoke every word with his arms and hands,

Here are the crowds in the room.

Then we got to “Birth of Venus”. This is the best pic I got with no one in it.

Here is one head on.

I think everyone else stayed on as our guide spoke about it but I moved on. I could still hear him in my ear with the ear pieces they gave us.

Then I moved on again.

Cannot really see the pics but I like the way it came out.

I am leaving some pics out because I took them sideways so why post them.

Then we were done in that room and moved along.

Then we saw this. We had to stand behind barriers.

Then we moved on but I think I will stop here.

Day 7.11

Now we were moving on and we came to a window and here was the view. Not too bad.

Back to statues.

Then back to looking outside. You can see the top of the Duomo.

Then back to statues.

Then we came to a window and outside was Ponte Vecchio.

Back inside once again.

The hallway and the floors and ceiling look great.

Then we entered a new room.

Then we moved on again.

I think I will stop here.
