We've dined in Chefs de France a number of times without ever seeing Remy. Is there a method to when he visits your table? We're going in May, right after my daughter completes her masters in psychology. As part of her graduate studies, she worked on an NIH funded research project using rats as subjects. She would name them after the various characters in Ratatouille, so she has an obvious affinity to Remy. I thought it would be cool to celebrate in Chefs de France if we knew we could get a visit from the most famous resident rat.

(As an aside, she is going for her PhD and has asked for dinner in Remy when she completes her doctorate, with the full understanding that means taking her on a cruise on the Dream or Fantasy, lol)

Pretty sure he only comes out during lunch hours and maybe even just certain days. When we went, we asked ahead of time to help our chances...successfully.

    Inside Les Chefs de France.
    Monday-Saturday at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 & 5:20pm
HE starts his rounds at the times listed.HE rolls thru the dining room on a serving cart with his translator that helps interpret his little squeaks and noises..IF you are not in your seat or seated late and you miss him, you miss him.He does not backtrack to missed tables.HE also does NOT appear on Sundays at all.Les chefs is also one of those resturants that tends to seat late so allow plenty of cushion time.He has also been known to NOT APPEAR due to technical difficulties and with no prior notice

Thanks to the replies, I switched an existing ADR to a 5:00 at Chefs de France. Thanks all.

I'd make the res for a little earlier - maybe 4:45 because 5:20 is his last round of the day. If Chefs is seating late and you end up at a table near the beginning of Remy's visit you might miss him. Also, they bypass tables that are in the process of being seated and won't come back. And you cannot get up and go over to him.

If your main interest in Chefs is to visit Remy, then you need to make sure you have not reserved on a Sunday, as he doesn't appear at all on Sundays. I can also vouch for the fact that he may not appear on a regularly scheduled day due to technical difficulties.

We had a 4:30 dinner reservation & were able to see him on his 5:00 tour. Adorable!!!!!
But, get there as soon as they start seating or you'll miss him.

If he's already moving around before you're seated you could try and request a table he hasn't visited.

We had a window seat & it seemed like he started there.

    REMY Info:

    1) Inside Les Chefs de France.
    2) Monday-thru-Saturday at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 & 5:20pm
    3) Visiting
. . . he usually comes out right on schedule
. . . the cart makes one trip around the eatery
. . . you must wait until he comes to your table *
. . . you cannot get up and go over to him, handlers guard him
. . . if you miss him, he does not make a second trip
. . . you must wait for the next scheduled time
. . . if your ADR is near a scheduled time, be early
. . . you may not be seated on time, and will miss him
. . . you might be in line waiting for a table when he appears
. . . if so, you wait for the next scheduled trip
. . . good hint: make your ressie at least 45-minutes prior to tour time

    * If people gathered around the cart, it would clog the aisles. Guests
might be pressing their shorts against another guest's tabletop and
food (yuck, gross). Also, he's temperamental and occasionally doesn't
appear at all - and without prior notice. Could be technical glitches or even
absenteeism. There are times he breaks down during the tour and has
to stop visiting. So don't overly promise the little ones.
