Does anyone know about coupons/codes for Kalahari resort sandusky ohio.
We have 4 adults and 4 children, getting the most bang for your $$$.
The reservation system for Kahlahari ranges from $199 (1 room of 4) to $379 (1 room of 6 with a sleeper sofa) adding 2 more guests.
I just can't justify their prices up against the quality accomodations at Disney.
We would want to go in begining of August or late August prefer not to go on a weekend.

Have you called them directly? I was pricing out a stay for 6 people in May of last year, and the prices on the website were very high. I called the reservation line, and they were running a special on their suites. We stayed 3 nights in a HUGE suite for around $700. The suite was composed of 2 separate rooms, we loved it. We had so much room, and loved the Kalahari. We are planning on going there again, back to Cedar Pointe.

We got a deal for the Kalahari in the Dells in August for $150/night (2 night's stay required). The deal also includes an all-day pass to the indoor theme park (which is not usually included in room ressies) and of course, access to the indoor and outdoor waterparks. Did you check under the "specials" tab on their website? The deal we got was a "two night stay" special. Good luck with finding a deal! --Katie

if you look on their website every Tuesday they have a "Beat the Clock" special. I think that this weeks was $219 for two nights for a party of 4 for the upcoming weekend. They are usually last minute specials. They do have a list of their current specials on their website by month. I don't know if you have checked it out online or not. It seems like they are doing more of those kind of last minute specials to fill rooms.

Deals are hard to come by. A stay during the week, you may luck out. The beat the clock is probably your best bet. But like the previous poster mentioned, its last minute. We live an hour from Sandusky. This is the BEST indoor waterpark in the area. Nothing else compares.

I too have had better luck calling directly to the reservation line. They will run down all the specials available.

Good luck, your family will LOVE this place. Lisa

    Hey there ---

I agree with calling them - sometimes that is the best way to get a deal. I'll do the old... Hi! I am calling because I think I saw a special that was $149.99 a night... something about including tickets, blah blah blah... works every time.

Barring that, check with the travelsite --- they will regularly have some sort of code for various water parks (including all the random ones in Ohio)... here is the deal they are running right now...

    Good luck!
