Does anyone have a good link on where I can find what characters are where in DL and DCA?

Or if anyone knows what characters I can meet and where they are? Yes this is for me and adult kid who meets characters whenever I can.

Also can you pre-order the photo pass CD like you can for WDW?

Thank you

There is no accurate site for DL in regards to characters.
Toontown will have Mickey and friends usually.
Fantasy Faire will have princesses. I do not think they have mover Rapunzel over there yet, so Rapunzel and Merida have their own areas.
Woody and Jessie can be see by BT Ranch.
Mater and Lightning McQueen switch off by the Cozy Cone
Different characters will be on Mainstreet and BVS throughout the day.
You can usually go to City Hall for a list of that days characters and times.

Disneyland does offer a pre-paid Photopass + for $69.95. To pre-order, your trip must not be within the next two weeks. If you purchase in the park it is $99.95.

This is a great list! In addition, you can have a meet and greet with Rapunzel and Flynn after their show at the theater in Fantasy Faire, and probably with Belle too after her show, but we didn't see that one so I can't confirm. In DCA, Duffy bear has an area on the pier near Ariel's Grotto for meet and greet, and there is another little gazebo right there where Donald was.

Also, check the area near the Merida meet and greet next to It's A Small World. We met Mickey there with a minimal wait as well as Pluto, and Goofy and Max were there, as well.

Great advice guys, I really need to investigate the shows more and the parks more....I bought a book but anyone have some good advice on the best websites to check out?

does anyone have a link for the disneyland photopass pre-order I was looking but can only find the disney world one?

Near Pinochhio ride and "Tangled"....Rapunzal. Flynn wasn't with her when we went.
Near Dumbo Ride: Peter Pan
Near "It's A Small World". Merida.

Goofy

Critter Country: Winnie and Tigger

At DCL:

Duffy the bear...In Front of Ariel Grotto
Woody, on paradise Pier
The Incredibles and Frozone (alternate): Not far from the Hollywood backlot close to Animator's.
Dug the dog~ Redwood Creek challenge trail. Russell is there too but we didn't see him.

Wow! What a list! I'm not the OP but was wondering, is there a photopass photographer at any of these meet/greets?

As far as the best website goes, you are on it. :goodvibes I have been on others, and the DIS provides the most accurate info. You will also get some great tips from the stickys...especially if you are interested in the bigger shows (F!, WOC).

I just received my voucher yesterday for our trip in a month. We used it in October, and it was worth it.

Yes. I would say most, if not all of them have a PP photographer.

With the exception of Peter Pan and some of the characters on Main street, they all had photopass photographers with them. :)

ETA: Oh, at Pixie Hollow only Tinkerbell had a photographer not the other two fairies.

Not all of them will have a photographer, though I think when it's a super busy day they may. I know that in ToonTown, when I saw Goofy, Pluto, and Daisy they did not have a photographer there, only a handler. It depends on the character and time, so I would count on the possibility of NOT having a photographer there.

Also, I have run into Daisy a few times! She's a rarity apparently. She comes out during busy seasons so I am thinking she will be around ToonTown during Easter and stuff.

Where can I find Mickey at California Adventure? and will I be able to take a photo with him?

I found more of the DCA characters had photographers. In disneyland the main fairy did it was Vidia when we went Tink was off. We didn't do the princess faire since we did the dinner but I believe they do.

In DCA We saw Mickey in a trolley, Sulley near Monsters Inc, Pluto, Goofy and the chipmunks near the fountain, Jake near the Disney Junior theater. Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Ariel at Ariel's Grotto. Frozone and Mr. Incredible near ToT. Flick in bugs land. Mater, lightning, and the fire truck in Carsland"

In DL we saw Cinderella, Alice, and Mulan near the turnstiles. Just inside the tunnel on Mn St we saw Pluto, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Queen of Hearts. In Princess FF we saw Aurora, Ariel, Cinderella, then Rapunzel and Flynn after the play. Saw Merida near small world, Tink and Fawn at pixie hollow, Jasmine, Alladin, genie in the Oasis.

Flik is OUT?!?! I'm so jealous! I've been trying to collect all Pixar characters since I'm a Pixar fan. Man, it must be really busy for him to be out, he's rare. Same with Mulan, she's harder to catch than you would think.

OP, during busy times like these, Snow White and the Evil Queen will be by Snow's Wishing Well in DL, pretty much guaranteed. Also, Fairy Godmother used to wander around the opposite side of the castle, but since FF is there now, she may not, not sure what happened to her now.

In DCA, the fab five will be all dressed in BVS clothing, and Goofy and Mickey make appearances in the two respective shows. Across from Toy Story Midway Mania, Buzz, Woody, and Jessie rotate under a covered area next to Screamin (though this Meet and Greet sometimes moves locations, this is usually where it's at). In Cars Land, DJ has a show, but he doesn't do meets like Red.

Anyway, when in doubt and looking for specific characters, ask City Hall in DL.

ETA: Dunno if this counts, but Crush has his own talk show in the Animation building in DCA :rotfl:

Just returned from DL and can add that characters were very accessible. We went to DL on a non-early entry day and Mickey, Pluto, Goofy and Pinocchio were posing for pics on Main Street.

On way out in afternoon, Donald, Daisy, Aurora and Snow White were all there.

The longest line was about 15 people and none of the characters had a fast pass photographer with them.

Great thread! I've heard from several people on this board that you can go to City Hall in DL and they can tell you where characters will be that day.

Do they know where characters will be in DCA too?

Or do they know in the Guest Relations Lobby or the Information Station in BVS where characters will be in DCA that day? I've never been to either of those places.

My niece might be joining my family on our trip for a short time and she would be super excited to meet some Pixar characters - if she focuses on one or two pre-trip I'd love to know the best way to find them in DCA (although I know some of them also show up in DL as well).

Also curious in general if people have asked about specific characters at City Hall if they found the info to be accurate. I'm guessing they have to be somewhat vague and can't promise anything specific (don't blame them!) but maybe not - we've always been able to see the characters we've been after just roaming around or at meet and greets or character meals so I've never asked at City Hall.

We ask every day, and it's always very accurate and not vague. We ask about specific characters, though.
