I know that DU doesn't take transfers from other agencies, but is it possible to change agents within DU?

Yes. Although, not sure it can be done in the middle of a reservation. We had communication issues with our first agent, but John solved the problem and we had a great trip. We used another TA for our April cruise and she is wonderful. I would have used DU for our February booking, but it was a discounted trip (under $1000). No OBC was available, so we chose Costco nd their GC.

I would contact John at john@dreamsunlimitedtravel.com and let him know what the problems are that you currently have.

He will help you solve problems!!!

Thank you for your responses! I should have been more clear - there are no issues. My parents made a reservation before they talked to me and I would have had them use my agent directly, because I know she's good and very knowledgeable. I don't know anything about the other agent, other than that she's not in Florida. For all I know, she's also wonderful, but I would have liked to have referred my own DU agent.

    That totally makes sence!!

I think if you just let the TA of your parents know this that it's probably no problem to get them your TA.
Don't know for sure but it sure doesn't hurt to ask and explain..,,

My brother booked with one DU agent and us with another. When we asked to link them, our agent asked if we wanted to move to my brothers agent to keep us all together. I don't think DCL was her specialty (we book DW through her) but we appreciated the offer and she transferred us to my brothers agent Tracy. Very nice!

Thanks, all! I think I'll approach my DU agent first and see how she feels. I don't want to create a bad feeling between any of the agents and DU is very respectful of other agencies, so there might be in internal policy, as well.
