Well, we've decided not to stay at WL because we are going to have five people, including my mother in law who is 73. Anyways, we are going to the Polynesian instead. DS 10 is crazy about Lilo and Stitch, and I've heard that is what Ohana's is themed after. I think it would be really cool if we could get reservations there. What do you think?

PS: We would do this instead of Chef Mickey's for breakfast.

We enjoyed the breakfast at 'Ohana. It's a family style breakfast instead of a buffet, so it's not the same as Chef Mickey's foodwise, but the food is good. We liked it so much that we are eating there again on our next trip.

The characters circulate around the restaurant and the kids can join in during a parade. It's fun! Sometimes Lilo stays in the lobby and sometimes she visits tables. When we were there, we saw Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto.

I've never been to Chef Mickey's or 'Ohana for breakfast- but I have to tell you, 'Ohana at dinner time is fantastic!!

Maybe you could do Chef Mickey's for a breakfast, to make sure you get a character meal- and then do 'Ohana at dinnertime and enjoy that ('Ohana is only a character meal at breakfast.)

Whatever you decide- have a great trip! I've heard great things about both restaurants at both breakfast and dinner time!! :)

We enjoyed both breakfast at Ohana's with the characters as well as dinner during Wishes! The food is quite yummy. Also WL and Poly are our favorite resorts - there are 5 of us and Poly is definately more roomy and comfy for us. Enjoy!

I agree with the post to do 'Ohana for dinner & stick with Chef Mickey's for Breakfast. We never miss going to Chef Mickey's for breakfast & it is such a hit with my DD. I also really enjoy 'Ohana for dinner--we'll be doing both in September.
Food wise this is what I'd do... but if Lilo & Stitch are the reason for breakfast at 'Ohana--then go for it. Watching your kids with their favorite characters is just amazing!!!!! enjoy!
