Champagne Cocktail Tasting

Has anyone done this and if so what does it consist of?

I did it on the Dream in August. It was great! We made 4 full size cocktails and the hostess was amazing. For $20, we had a great time. My impression is that it is just like Mixology but, instead of being general cocktails, we are making champagne drinks.

Is this different from the $35 'champagne tasting'? Off to check some navigators.

EDIT: I can't find it, but I'll be asking about it next week. Sounds nice.

Last month on the Dream I did a champagne tasting that was $35 per person. We had 4 glasses of champagne and a small dessert - no cocktails.

Our class was the very first night. On our cruise anyway, both were just listed as champagne so we didn't realize we would be doing cocktails.



We did The Legend, Blue Angel, Royal Bellini, and Pomegranate Passion.

I am starting to wonder if the decision of cocktails or not is up to the sommelier who is doing the particular tasting? I know ours mentioned that she had personally chosen the 4 champagnes for ours so it seems like it might be up to them to decide what to do.

I did the champagne tasting and it was great. I hope on our next cruise they have the champagne cocktail tasting!

I've done the Champagne tasting and it was okay. I really think I'd like the champagne cocktail tasting though.
