I have heard of feral cats at DLR for years, but had never witnessed any...until last Tuesday. I was walking in DCA from Soarin to GRR, and on the left there was a tortoise colored cat on the other side of the fence. Some people were petting it, so it didn't seem feral.
About 6pm the same day, we were walking from Jolly Holiday Bakery to Star Tours. A black and white cat was sitting on the fake rocks at the entrance to TL....it was so cute. It was just chillin' watching he crowd go by.

Does anyone else have any cat/animal stories from DLR?

The one I saw inside the park was near Hungry Bear, tortoise coloring as well. I also saw one just outside of the park in DTD right after you get off the Mickey & Friends tram but since it was outside of the park I'm not sure if it was one of the "official" Disneyland cats.

I see them every time I go. I think I have a cat radar or something. When I see them, they are usually at or Thunder Mountain, or in the foliage where the Castle meets the old Carnation area.

We've seen 2 over the years. The first one was in DCA in Bugs Land. It was sunning itself on the chew chew ride along one of the walls. ( near the box of cookies) The other one was also along the Micky and friends tram route.

During our last visit there was a cute kitty sitting in the planter outside the window at White Water Snacks.

I've seen a bunch of them while eating at the Hungry Bear restaurant. If you sit on the upper level all the way in the back, you can see a lot. I think they feed them back there.

So funny, last Tuesday we saw that same cat in the grass by the fence to GRR by Soarin!

Otherwise I've seen them by White Water Snacks quite a few times.

I have seen the one passing by Tommorrowland and we've always spotted at least one every time we have ridden the Mark Twain.

You can usually see one on the tram ride over from the mickey and friends parking lot. Also, near the winnie the pooh ride there's sometimes a few.

I've seen them at different times.

My daughter, Kelly, was at Hungry Bear Restaurant during late spring/early summer, and a cat trotted by with a duckling dangling from its mouth.

A little bit of Wild Kingdom thrown in with your Disney experience ;)

We saw a few cats sunning themselves while we sailed around Rivers of America.

Great way to keep small critters from infesting the parks.

My 12 year old is so hoping we see some of these cats on our upcoming trip -she wants to see them more than any character :lmao: Hope we can spot some!

There are a few that hangout around the pond across from TMRR. We see them lounging in or around the "tunnel" every trip. -There are also turtles and ducks there too.

I've seen the turtles, but haven't seen the cats around there. I'm going to have to look harder next time. :)

We have seen a giant fluffy one on the rocks behind the winery grapes in DCA. It is easily twice as big as a normal cat. Some day I'll remember to take a picture...

I've seen one from the tram ride from the parking lot to DTD, nevertheless I will look harder to spot them inside the parks.
