We will be at CBR Aug 5-11. I have been to Disney many times and this will be 2nd stay at CBR. First stay only 2 nights. I was reluctant to stay there after reading a lot of negative reviews but was happy when I stayed last Oct. The grounds are beautiful staff very friendly and helpful I thought the buses came much faster then even some deluxe resorts. I will be bringing my sister and her 2 daughters 5 yr and 12 yr :banana:first time visit. Thought theme and pool would make this a good choice. I have requested preferred room. Should I request building or floor? Any one else going this time?

Has anyone (or your kids, I should say) done the Pirate Cruise? Did they enjoy it/reviews? And do they only do it a few times a week?

Where did you get you water from? GardenGrocer or another place. I need to order my water for our trip. Just trying to find a place.

My kids did it in 2009 and loved it! pirate: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2074555&page=6

I believe it is still 3 mornings a week - Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday.

I am sorry if this is a redundant question! I stayed at CBR 2.5 years ago with my oldest daughter. We LOVED it! This time the whole family is going and we are really looking forward to the trip. I noticed the Nemo bedding. Is this standard now in all of the rooms? It looks great!

    Thanks!

Yes, it is. Except for the POTC rooms, which are a seperate booking category and cost slightly extra per night.

I order mine from Costco and have it shipped to CBR, about $6.99 a case and no shipping fee. I usually order 2 cases for our summer trips.

We just got back and absolutely loved it here! We were a party of 15 (5 rooms). All of our reservations were linked with the exception of my sister's. We all had standard rooms and I did online check-in with no special requests and was very surprised and overjoyed at check-in when I realized they upgraded us to Martinique building 26. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

My sister (who did not have her reservation linked was put in Aruba. But she called the next day to have her moved near us and she got put in right next door to me. So we occupied rooms 2604 -2608.

Martinique was so convenient with the food court and pool being so close. Prior to checking in I was indifferent to which building I was assigned to since I have older kids, but now that I had such a great spot, I don't think I would pay for a standard room again because the kids spent so much time in the main pool it was easy to keep tabs on them as we sat by the pool or the cabana bar.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Wow for the Upgrade!!! We always book preferred just because we like the closeness to OPR and pool as well. And we usually request Martinique, its our favorite area. Sounds like you had a great trip!!! We are counting down the days here!!!

    Hey everyone!

I am just about to book CBR for me and my boyfriend as a surprise for him, only for one night as we are staying off property and im torn between the pirate room and just standard room with king size bed.

I'd go with the king-sized room for a couple. I find the standard beds are really too small. :)

I just called to make a reservation for 2/26-3/5 and they are all booked. :scared1: Only have king beds available. I'm very surprised they are booked up already. :confused3 Maybe DH asked for preferred?? I'm going to call them myself.

I may book CSR in the meantime and keep calling back to see if CBR opens up.

    We just  CBR!

They might not have opened all the rooms for booking yet. I would keep checking back.

Does anyone know if they still sell the Coconuts at the gift shop? A friend of mine wants me to bring one home for her. Can I get that on the plane? Can I put in my carry-on or will I get stopped at security.

Saw them there last January 1. Interesting question- how much liquid is in a coconut? I'd put it in my checked bag. Not like it's something that will easily break. IIRC mailing the things from CBR was expensive but that isn't a problem for you.:)
