    Hi,

Was just wondering what good deals if any are out there for car hire in Dec 09 if any at he moment?

I usually use uscarrental (sorry if I am not allowed to reference to them on here) and theyve always been quite good.

Have the prices gone up this year? It seems to have gone up quite considerably since last? :confused3

Can anyone make any recommedations to other companies?

We are looking at 9th - 26th Dec as our dates :)

    Thanks in advance..

    Hi,

We used usrentacar for our holiday this year and paid £350 for an all inclusive 7 seater minivan through Dollar.
At the moment, or at least last time I looked it was over £500.

Not aware of any cheap deals anywhere, and did 'google' a few other rental companies recently and didn't find anything noticeably cheaper.

I would wait personally, either that or search the internet and see what you can see 'cheap car hire' etc

Thanks for the reply, I think we paid approx 250 - 275 last year for a intermediate with free upgrade to full size.

    I'll keep my eyes peeled.

    Thanks again

Car rental prices have risen a lot in the past year or so.

For intermediate with free upgrade to Fullsize USrentacar.co.uk are quoting £340 (less £5 with code on their homepage)
Check all these on this list but US are usually about the cheapest.
I would just book the cheapest deal now, doubt prices will change in next few weeks.

I believe Netflights still pay 5% cashback thru Quidco if they are somewhere near price you want.
