Please tell me about or link me to reviews on the Captain's Grille Breakfast Buffet. Does it have an omelet station? Any especially great items? Any items missing that you would expect on a buffet? Drinks included in the price? Thanks!

The last time we were there it was really just pretty basic. There was not an omelet station nor was there anything unusual or different than most of the regular/typical breakfast buffets. I do recall it being good with a nice assortment as well as a good value. You can though order an omelet off the regular menu if you choose.

It's the same food as the Cape May Cafe buffet, without the characters. Like a PP said, you can order eggs custom through your server - an omelette, or fried, or whatever. I was told by our server we could get anything off the menu included in the price of the buffet. No one here has actual experience with that, we didn't do it because the buffet was good enough for us.

It's really a great buffet, we like it as much as Trail's End, which is also a great basic buffet. We choose which one to go to depending on our schedule. We're hoping to go there this next trip before an early World Showcase day.

I need to look at my pictures to see exactly what I did get but I enjoyed it enough I had the buffet twice during our February trip. (I second a previous post about Trail's End-that is a great value)

Just like PPs said, you can get the buffet but then order things off the menu.

I had the breakfast buffet at CG three times during my Feb 2012 trip. :thumbsup2 Nothing exotic, but the food was good, there was plenty of selection and everything I wanted (including Mickey waffles). It was always pretty quiet when I was there, too. I don't think the drinks were included, but I wouldn't swear to that.

This is one of my absolute favorite breakfast places ! The food is basic American fare - which is exactly what I want. A character breakfast can be too chaotic for me, so I like that this place is reasonably quiet.

I appreciate all the comments so far. Keep them coming! I also have always enjoyed the Trail's End breakfast buffet. Since I am staying at the Boardwalk for part of my next trip, I was hoping that the Captain's Grille would be a reasonable, but closer, option.:)

I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet @ Captains Grille on my resort day when I stayed at the BWV the end of November 2012. It was really yummy & they have good coffee too. I also had a glass of OJ with my breakfast. I loved the tomato gratin. I also remember lox and some other different dishes. I had a nice leisurely brunch. The only thing I remember not liking was it seemed dark in the dining room. I highly recommend CG for breakfast!

Not anymore! Last week, I asked our waitress if we chose the buffet, could we also order any item off the regular menu as well and she said no. The only extra item we could order beside what is laid out on the buffet tables is an omelet. Maybe you had a nicer waitress than we did. :)

The drinks were included in the buffet price and if you use a Disney Visa CC, there's a 10% discount.

Overall, we really enjoyed the buffet, well worth the $18.99 price, even if I was a bit disappointed in not being able to order the chocolate waffles.
