Magic Kingdom Must Do's!
Hi everyone! So before I start the Magic Kingdom portion of this update, let me just update you about a few minor things first.
I made a few more ADR's...I ended up going with Boma for breakfast, which I was most likely going to do anyway, but there wasn't really a good time available for Tusker House on the day we're going to AK, so Boma it is! I also made one for Raglan Road, which we'll be doing the night we move over to Port Orleans, so we can take the boat, I'm going to try to avoid Downtown Disney (or is it Disney Springs now? Who knows!) until we're at POR, because I don't want to drive there and deal with parking. It's ridiculous.
Last but not least, I made a kind of impulsive breakfast ADR at Crystal Palace! I just happened to be looking and I saw it so I grabbed it. I'm not sure if I'll keep it, but it's nice to know I have it!
Now I just have to find a place for Beaches and Cream and Sanaa and I'm all set!
Next, only 4 WEEKS until my trip!!!!

I'm obviously excited, but I'm also mad at myself. I told myself I'd lose weight for this trip, because I'm tired of feeling like the fat girl at Disney. I had how many months to accomplish this? And oh look, down to the last month. I was doing SO GOOD for a while, I was tracking every little thing in My Fitness Pal, I was exercising, I lost a few pounds...then I got comfortable, and stopped tracking and gained everything back that I lost. It's just SO hard for me to keep weight off if I'm not constantly tracking every single thing that I eat. I also stopped drinking soda, which I thought would help...well, apparently not! I haven't had one drop of soda for 6 WEEKS! It's not like I was some soda addict, but I did drink it, and trying not to when you really want some Dr. Pepper is hard. I don't bother with diet soda, I know some people like it, but to me, it's pointless. Remember Fat Monica on Friends and her issue with light mayo? Well that's me with diet soda, haha!
Anyway, my point is, I'm happy my trip is so soon, but I'm also mad because as of now, I've lost no weight, and realistically, how much can I lose in 4 weeks? Maybe 10 pounds if I REALLY try hard? I mean, 10 pounds would be great, but since it's been such a struggle so far, who knows if it will happen? I guess all I can do is try, I mean, if anything, at least I'll be in better shape to walk around the parks, right?
Well anyway, let's move on to my Magic Kingdom must do's!
I LOVE the Magic Kingdom, but I guess that goes without saying, right? I mean, you can't go to Disney World and not love the Magic Kingdom, it IS Disney World. There is just so much to do there, and so much to see, and so many characters, you could never possibly be bored in the Magic Kingdom.
The first thing I have to do there is...
See the opening show, of course! I love it, I love how it just gets you ready for the day at the Magic Kindom.
At some point, we'll go on the Mine Train.
I'm not sure if I'll try to go on at rope drop, or if I'll just wait for an FP, but I'd like to go on it more than once. It's so cute, but I just wish it was a little longer!
We also have to go on Peter Pan's flight, which I will try for once the park opens, hopefully the line won't be 30 minutes by the time we walk over there!
Gotta go on Splash Mountain, I'll probably do that on the way out of the park, just in case I get soaked!
Can't go to the Magic Kingdom and not go on Haunted Mansion!
And then I'll HAVE to go on the Peoplemover about 50 times, because it's my favorite thing in the Magic Kingdom, I'm obsessed! I love the sounds of Tomorrowland, and the Peoplemover is the perfect place to just relax and listen to everything going on around you!
As for parades, I have to see Festival of Fantasy. I've never been a huge afternoon parade person, but this parade changes all of that!
And then at night, of course I will have to see Celebrate the Magic and Wishes! Probably multiple times!
I know I've been including a snack in all of my Must Do's, and honestly, MK just has way too many to narrow down to one, but I would love a citrus swirl at some point!
I also love getting churros in MK, ice cream, pretzels, cake pops, cotton candy...oh, and of course Starbucks! Oh, and something from Sleepy Hollow, I would love to try one of those waffle sandwiches.
One last thing I'm excited to see in MK is the new hub area!
(I actually have concerns about this area, haha, but I'm going to keep them to myself, so let's just say I'm excited to see it, it looks beautiful! Let's just hope it looks as pretty as this picture and not what I'm imagining in my mind!
)
I'm sure we'll go on Space Mountain, Pirates, the Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, see Philharmagic, and a bunch of other things that I'm forgetting right now! I'm sure I'll spend a lot of time in New Fantasyland in Belle's little village area, because I love it so much!
I don't know, am I leaving anything major out here?
Up next...my favorite Disney park, Epcot must do's!!!
