Dh won 2 one day passes to US/IOA back in 2006 when he did the fear factor attraction they used to have. We are planning on heading there for one day on our anniversary trip, and we're finally planning on using these tickets. We mostly want to do IOA, but we want to check out the Simpson's ride. Are we able to upgrade them to 2 park passes? I know Disney promo passes are not upgradeable, so I wasn't sure if it was the same there.

yes, you can upgrade to a two park to park pass.

you pay the difference between the two.

you can do this after you are in the park for upgrading.

Mac, I'm not sure about that.

I think that if it is a comp ticket, you cannot upgrade it. Does the ticket say COMP or anything similar on it?

    i thought about that damo.
since the OP didn't mention comp tickets, i was assuming they were actual tickets won in fear factor contest that was distributed by UO.

if they are comp tickets, it should be listed on the tickets on the back by the bar code.

then i thought about the homies that win UO tickets with the coke contest and those don't have comp on them.
and since these tickets were won at UO in a contest (fear factory), i figured they were valid.

i still have passes from 2003 that i received at UO.
they are still valid when i had them checked at guest services.

so yes, if they are comp tickets, they can't upgrade them.
if the bar code on the tickets do not have anything listed as the source, they could be good.

hopefully the OP will return and let us know what is listed on the tickets so we can advise in the right direction.

They are comp tickets but I am almost piositive that the FF comps are two-park comps. But even if they aren't, you can upgrade a one park comp to a park to park. That's about the only thing you can upgrade a comp to though.

    Yup.

Sounds like comp tickets can only get upgraded to two park comp.

Normal tickets can get upgraded to anything.

Three park tickets that include SeaWorld can't get upgraded at all.

I know this is possibly a stupid question, but I have an Preferred AP that on my next visit will be 8 months old.

Would I be able to upgrade it to a Premier pass? And if so, any idea if the cost would be pro-rated (I know, highly unlikely), or the full cost as if I had purchased the Premier in the first place?

Any guesses on how much I would have to pay?

The main perk that I see that I can use would be the once per ride FOTL after 4:00 as I will be staying off site (gasp! - have never done that before) for a couple of days after I check out of the Royal Pacific. Are there any other benefits that I am missing? Other reasons to upgrade?

Also, are there any restrictions on the 4:00 FOTL privledges such as time of year, crowd levels, etc ?

    Thank you! :thumbsup2

Sorry for the long absence! I forgot to check for replies.
I checked the tickets, and they say COMP-FEAR FACTOR above the barcode. However I just noticed that right below that it reads "one day two park". So I guess my question is answered. Thank you for your help!
