No blackout dates for Animal Kingdom.
A bit off topic, but would you happen to know if I order 10 day, no expire, park hopper tickets through AAA and get the parking pass. Is there an expiration date or do I get to keep it forever?
Thanks for the info!
Does anyone have an idea why the whole month of December is blocked out at the MK? (or is it possibly a mis-print?)
It may be because of the Christmas parties, parade tapings, etc. I will be there for first time this year at holiday time and I hear lots goes on at MK.
How do you get a AAA diamond pass?? Do you have to purchase a package or can you just book a room? Is there anyother ways to get a diamond pass?
We were able to use the AAA parking pass even during the blackout dates. It was the first week of December last year.
I belong to the Kansas City AAA and I haven't been able to find on their website how to get the parking pass. The link puts you into the WDW official website, but that's it. Does anyone know how I get the pass?
In order to get the AAA Diamond Pass you need to book your ENTIRE package through AAA (Tickets Hotel) then they give you that card. YOu might get lucky and have a very nice employee sneak you one!
At AAA-Carolinas, you get a parking pass just for purchasing your tickets, as long as they are 5 day or longer (at least that's how it was with the PH's through Dec.2004).
The pass is good through the end of the year; 2004, or 2005, etc.
You end up doing more walking with the AAA pass---yes, it puts you closer to the entrance, but then you have to walk vs. taking a tram.
In Jan. of this year, most of the lots were not using the AAA parking, even though there's no blackout dates. Because the parks weren't very busy, Disney didn't bother to put up the signs for the reserved spots (MGM, Epcot).
