we'll be traveling by plane and will try to get everything on a carryone if we are able. but we can't bring razors on a carryone as well as hairspray, shaving cream and such. is there a store at the resorts where you can buy this stuff? we won't be renting a car. if we have to, we can get a taxi and go offsite to pick up the stuff but would rather buy it at the resorts if we are able to. any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can buy these items there. You are allowed to carry personal razor in your carryon. I take disposable razors, my husband travels constantly and he has hairspray, shaving cream & his razor in his carryon. These items are so small I would pack. I'm sure you'll pay a little more buying from resort.

the reason i asked was because on the delta airlines website it listed hairspray as hazzardous unless less that 16 ounces. also aerosol cans, etc.

so, we'll bring it and if we don't make it thru, then we will pick some up at the resort. thank you for your reply. this is my first time flying, and i'm a nervous wreck....and it's the first time i've been to disney in about 20 years.

My husband travels using travel hairspray bottle, which is in pump style. You can get for 99 cents in drugstore, k-mart, etc. He pretty much flies Delta, so know it's ok to take on.

Yeah 16 oz is pretty huge, I always take a small size hairspray without any problems.

I packed my razor, hairspray (aerosol), mousse and perfumes in our luggage. I knew better than to put them in the carryon because they confiscate them.

ASMo has personal items right behind the counter. I know this for a fact because (and men you can just ignore this post) :) I had to buy some Kotex and they were $4.28 for a pack of 10!! I went back to the room complaining and my hubby says:

"That's because they have Mickey Mouse imprinted on them". :earsboy:

For that price they SHOULD at least have Mouse Ears instead of wings anyway!

I think we need a new acronym: SMWAOTS

"spitting my water all over the screen"

Think there's a smiley for that one?? :teeth:
