Just a heads up to people who take a cab to Paradise Island to access the beach (called Cabbage) via the ‘public’ walkway: according to local news stories, this access way is going to be closed soon. It turns out that this access way was on privately owned land, and the land has been sold and will now be developed.
If you’re cruising in/after October, you might want to look for alternatives. I'm sure there will be back and forth on opening/closing it as it has been the only way crusiers have accessed this beach via a public walkway for a long time.
