I'm going back and forth between resorts - choices are either a BWV studio, or CBR Pirate room. Those are my choices at the moment for our FD week.. but a FD package isn't a dealbreaker.

How is the noise level at either resort? That's a big issue for us. We usually stay at Pop, and haven't had any issues. POR on the other hand, was awful. This trip, the priority is relaxation, and zero stress. I'm looking at BW due to the proximity to Epcot, and the boat transportation... but CBR is a good bit cheaper. I'm not sure the bus/driving situation is worth the lesser cost though. We usually drive to the parks because it's quicker, and we don't have to wait for a bus. But if I can avoid both for the mostpart, that would be awesome :goodvibes

We're going in November, so a pool isn't a necessity, but would be nice... which is why the Poly is off the table. :(

So, which resort would you choose? Anyone have any pros/cons for either? Or which would you suggest, if not either of these? We're two 30 something adults, no kids, celebrating our anniversary, if that helps :)

My sister got an upgrade to a Pirate room at the CBR and that room is just about the farthest room from the food court that you can get. She thought the room was cute but did not appreciate the long walk she had to take.

The ability to walk into Epcot or HS is almost priceless. The whole Epcot resort area is very nice. But you also have to pay extra for it. :)

Boardwalk hands down...two thirty something on anniversary trip no kids? You don't need no stinkin pirates.

You need to walk over to World Showcase, have a nice dinner, couple glasses of wine and stroll back to the Boardwalk every. single. night. Not to mention Dueling Pianos ESPN Club etc. The balconies are beautiful. Obviously we love the Boardwalk.

Boardwalk definitely! So much more relaxing than CBR. Request a room near the elevator though. This is a Hugh resort with only one set of elevators.
Long hallways!!! It was so nice walking to Epcot and taking the boat to Hollywood Studios.

If it works with the budget, go with the BWI! It is a fabulous resort! Ideal for young adults on an anniversary trip!

    Skip the pirates.

    Enjoy!

BWI is great, but if a food court for quick food options at your resort is important, then BWI doesn't really offer that. We stayed at BWV a long time ago, but that is something I remembered that is at night when we got back, if hungry we couldn't get much (no quick service place).
