Anyone out there cook it much? I come from a white rice background and I'm trying to do better whole grain-wise. I've followed the directions (add to boiling water, cover and lower to simmer for 45 minutes, let it sit 10) but the results are more like oatmeal than rice. Is this normal for brown rice (Mahatma)? If so, is there any other way to prepare it where it retains it's rice shape more? I love the microwave brown rice/wild rice combo by Uncle Ben, but trying to save some money here when a whole bag of rice was only 2 dollars. TIA!
