I'm looking for a website with pictures of various bouquets. I have something in mind for what I'd like for a bouquet - cascade style, lillies and roses - but I thought it would be easier to find a picture online to print out and show the florist.

Can anyone recommend a good site?

Weddingchannel.com

They have lots of great bouquets in all kinds of colors and styles.

Also try theknot.com

Your local florist should have a few books with pictures of what they have done.

Where are you getting married in Vegas??

That was one of the places we were originally thinking of before settling on a disney wedding!

You are a travel agent right-I think I saw you on the Canadian forum? Mabey you can answer a question..
my friend had 2 travel certificates for NWA..good for 100.00 USD off..for travel by June 30/04 or per rule of fare used...
She was able to use hers to book for our wedding in Oct...I tried to use the other one last night booking directly with NWA -my mom still needs a ticket-and they said no way. What does per rule of fare mean? Seems crazy they would take her certificate and not mine...they are identicle and for travel at the same time.
Anyways booked the ticket without the voucher but was just needing some answers!
In regards to bouquets-I found all my ideas in magazines.

Almost all the wedding details are still up in the air. I have the chapels narrowed down to 2 - the Excalibur and the Monte Carlo. I want to get married in something that doesn't look like a boardroom with an altar at the front. The Excalibur, despite the fact that I hate the casino, has an absolutely beautiful chapel. Unfortunately it only holds 65 and I'm pretty sure we'll have more than that. We haven't actually seen the Monte Carlo chapel in person yet, but will likely be heading there in October to have a look at it. Then pick out the reception venue, and the hard parts are over with.

The honeymoon details are pretty much set - not booked yet, but decided upon. Immediately after Vegas there's a week in Anaheim - my fiance's family is from there, works out well! ;) We'll be taking in the 50th at Disneyland, and then returning home for a few days before taking off for the actual honeymoon - 4 day DCL cruise and a week at WDW, POFQ. And Discovery Cove.

Yep, I'm a travel agent. As for your certificate there are 3 options - one is that the NW agent is interpreting the voucher to mean that travel has to be complete by June 30 as opposed to booked by June 30. Another is that the voucher can only be used with certain classes of fare, and the fare you were trying to book isn't compatible with that voucher. The other possibility is... you said that these were vouchers your friend had? It's possible tha the voucher isn't transferable to another person. Even if there's no name on the voucher itself they do have a record in their system of who the voucher was issued to. Any of those is possible. The general rule we travel agents use is - say thank you very much, hang up, call back in 10 minutes and hope that you get someone else. Usually if you talk to 3 different agents you'll get 3 different answers. Sometimes more!

That's the "lovely" thing about the big airlines as opposed to the discount carriers (like Westjet). With the discount ones they only have 1 class of ticket, and various fare levels within that one class that are entirely based on sale volume. With the regular carriers each type class has different rules and regulations attached to it. Advance purchase requirements, Saturday night stayovers, limits to how long you can stay, cancelation with no fees but a credit voucher issued, cancelation and full refund etc etc. The list goes on and on.

Have you considered the Venetian or Bellagio at all? Before my husband suggested the Disney wedding, I was considering both of those. I love the bridge over the waterway in The Venetian and in The Bellagio, I think you can marry in the atrium, which is so beautiful. They do the ceremonies in the gazebo toward the back of the room, in the center of the pond. We even gave consideration to the wedding on the ship at Treasure Island.

I would have a hard time narrowing down where I would want to have a traditional wedding in Vegas, there are some pretty impressive choices!

Can't wait to hear more about your plans!

Here's the background on the bride (which would be me): I'm a travel agent, and also run my family-owned tour company (now 23 years in business). My biggest strengths are planning and organizing. So, as is my nature, I've thrown all the wedding/reception/honeymoon details and options into a spreadsheet to compare.

The Venetian and Bellagio are just too far out of the price range. My budget for everything - wedding, reception, Anaheim/DL, honeymoon, cruise, all meals, photos, tips - I mean everything - is $25K.

I'm also taking into account the weather, and the fact that I will want to get married at the same hotel I'm staying at. In checking over the various hotels and packages I've found that most of them don't provide a dressing room for the bride, so you basically have to arrive ready to go. Since we're getting married in the middle of the summer in Las Vegas, I've decided that I don't want to be out and about melting before the ceremony. I'm quite partial to the Monte Carlo hotel, and suspect that's where the wedding will end up being.

The reception is an entirely different matter, no idea yet where that will be. That's a little trickier.

BTW we also considered getting married on the ship at Treasure Island! It was mostly DF that was keen on that though. I had to point out to him that the ship they do the weddings on is the one that gets hit hardest in battle, and I just didn't think it was a good omen to get married on a ship that sinks 3 times a night!

Good Luck

Thankyou thankyou thankyou. That's absolutely perfect. I've saved some of the ones that I like and will use them when arranging the bouquet with the florist.
