I've seen 2 hotels that are part of the Disney world resorts on Travelocity and wanted to know if you book through Travelocity can you later call Disney and add the free dining plan? Or add tickets? Or if the dining plan isn't available can we just add and pay for the dining plan?

Sorry, no. You cannot add a dining plan, either paid or free, to a travelocity reservation. To get the dining plan you have to book a package (room + tickets + dining plan) through Disney or an authorized travel agency and not a third party booking website.

Yup. Once you get your Disney confirmation number, you can call ME and make a reservation.

Free dining is a perk by booking through Disney, not by another third party.

I booked last Friday (5/31) Pop Century for my 10 year Anniversary trip coming up Aug. 23. I chose Aug. 24-30 as my dates...got 6 day park hopper/water park tickets too (buy 4 day get 2 days free deal)...so I saved a bundle!
    BUT...
I found out school starts that week (yeah, my dumb mistake thinking after Labor Day) and my wife won't want to miss our daughters first day of 1st grade...sooo.........
I have called Travelocity 7 times and each time get the runaround (sent a fax, call back tomorrow...oh let me call hotel...on hold 20 mins...Fax not received I'll send another...rinse and repeat)...until finally they told me to call the hotel and THEY'LL help me???
I called Pop today and the lady said "I'm so sorry, I hear this all the time...but THEY own the ressie and we can't change it...but talk to a supervisor and they might be more help. Have a magical day."
So I did that (45 mins on hold) and HE said he's sending fax and will call me tomorrow...
    Who knows...
    This is a nightmare!

That is correct that Travelocity owns your reservation until you check in and Disney will not discuss anything with you about the reservation. Any questions, problems, etc. must be handled through Travelocity (this goes for any travel agent you go through). Also, when you called the phone number associated with Pop, you weren't talking to someone at the actual resort, but rather a call center. All calls to the numbers listed for each individual resort are routed to a call center, with some of them not even being located in Florida. They answer as if they are at that particular resort, but they are not. I hope your problems are resolved soon.

Yeah, I asked him (the supervisor) why this is so difficult...he blamed Disney and said some hotels make us Fax and some let us change...Disney is one we can't do without a Fax and confirmation...
Since I feel like I'm being jerked around I think if this don't work I'll threaten to dispute the charge since Travelocity is not sticking to their rules (I've even copied/pasted the policy to their email).
I'm not trying to transfer or refund the ressie...just change it...and it's okay to do that in their terms...

I would suggest canceling your existing reservation and simply re-booking for the dates you want. It seems to be easier to cancel with Travelocity than to change.

I have found Travelocity and Orbitz to be a pain in the you-know-what and, even for a small savings (I just calculated your trip on both Travelocity and Disney and, yes, you are saving $75 with Travelocity) it's just not worth the hassle.

I bought 6 day park hoppers and they are non-refundable.
I can get a refund...but I paid 1081.00 for the 6 nights at Pop and 2 park hopper/water park option tickets...I'd be out 700+ to do this...
    They offered a refund...but only 370.00...
    I just can't eat 700 bucks...
    Time will tell...it just stinks...

    UPDATE:

I have checked my linked ressie on Disneyworld.com and the dates are changed!
Travelocity.com still shows 24-30 for checkin and tickets voucher.
But at least I see some change...I'll give it another day and then call Travelocity if they don't have a change...or try calling Disney and asking about my ticket vouchers.
    Feeling kinda relieved...
