Boat rental at Fort Wilderness?

Has anyone done this before? How was it? What is the area like that you're allowed to boat in? We're considering renting a pontoon for an hour or two one afternoon before our 4:00 HDDR. Do they teach you HOW to drive the boat? My husband has never driven one before.
 
we have done it! it was lots of fun and boats easy to drive. I recommend Google for more specific info

Rent boats/watercraft at Fort Wilderness Marina (open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily) including:
21' Suntracker pontoons ($45/half hr), must be 18 to drive; Sea Raycer by Sea Ray® ($32/half hr), Drivers must be 12 years of age and up and at least 5 feet tall; younger Guests may ride as passengers. The maximum combined weight permitted for a Sea Raycer by Sea Ray is 320 pounds. Boston Whaler® Montauk ($45/half hour),fit up to 6 Guests, who must be 18 years of age and up to drive. These boats are restricted to the waterway from which they are rented. Parent or guardian signature required for all drivers 12-18 years old.
